  • Won Helen Hayes Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Flora Crewe in Tom Stoppard's play "Indian Ink" (The Studio Theatre, Washington, DC, 2000)
  • Provided the voice of Judy Garland in the 2004 American Master's presentation "Judy Garland: By Myself." She provided narration by reading the words Garland had tape recorded in the late 1960s for a planned autobiography that she was unable to complete.
  • (2005, July) Appeared as the Duchess of Berwick in the Oscar Wilde play Lady Windemere's Fan at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Williamstown, Massachusetts.
  • (March 10 to 30, 1996) She played Digna in Guillermo Reyes' play, "Chilean Holiday," in a Humana Festival production at the Actors Theatre of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky with Rose Portillo (Cecilia); Bob Burrus (Don Pablo); Bobby Cannavale (Lautaro); Divina Cook (Dona Conchita) and Suzan Mikiel (Dona Ima) in the cast. Lillian Garrett-Groag was director.
