Lazenby Accused Of Assaulting Ex-wife
George Lazenby in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)
Latest: George Lazenby's ex-wife has accused the Bond star of beating her while she was carrying their child.

Christina Master's accusations could strengthen Lazenby's current wife, Pam Shriver's case against him.

Tennis ace Shriver is divorcing the actor after six years, and accused her estranged husband of threatening to kill her, assaulting her in a drunken rage, and giving alcohol to their three children - all of which Lazenby has denied.

Master claims Lazenby punched her in the face when she was five months pregnant and broke her nose when their son, Zack, was dying from cancer.

She alleges he threatened to kill her when she told him she wanted a divorce, and says she was so fearful he meant it that it took years before she found the courage to leave him in 1994.

But Lazenby - who was divorced from Master in 1995 after 24 years together - says the declarations are 'contrived, unfounded and without merit'.

In a statement released by his spokesman Michael Sands, he adds, "I wish Christina would show me a medical report, x-rays and pictures that show I broke her nose. I never punched her in my life."

Daughter Melanie Lazenby has backed up her mother's claims, insisting her father 'tormented me, humiliated me, hurt me physically, scarred me emotionally' and 'placed a feeling of fear and mistrust in me'.

But Lazenby says his ex-wife and daughter are seeking revenge for the death of Zack, who died of cancer at 19.

He adds, "Melanie is always seeking revenge for that mistake."...

Shriver: 'Drunk Lazenby Abused Children'
George Lazenby in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)
Latest: Former Bond star George Lazenby has slammed his estranged wife for branding him an "abusive alcoholic" who gave alcohol to his children.

Tennis ace Pam Shriver is divorcing the actor after six years of marriage.

Shriver claims he has threatened to kill her and previously assaulted her in a drunken rage.

She further claims he fed alcohol to their three kids: George, four; and twins Caitlin and Samuel, two.

In papers filed at a Los Angeles court, Shriver claims, "Respondent (Lazenby) has threatened to kill me if I seek custody of the children. Respondent twisted my ear (August 2007) and bruised my arms (June 2007). Respondent argues and fights with me in front of the children.

"Throughout 2006 and 2007, I observed and objected to Respondent offering our children beer from beer bottles and ice from Scotch glasses."

But Lazenby is challenging a restraining order she filed against him and is asking for joint custody of their kids.

Denying the allegations, he says, "I have not abused (Shriver) or our children."

Lazenby's spokesman, Michael Sands, adds, "George will go to the end of the Earth for his kids and he is devastated by a lot of false accusations."...

Lutfi Objects To Spears' Conservatorship Commissioner
Britney Spears' ex-manager Sam Lutfi has filed papers objecting to the Superior Court commissioner assigned to the star's conservatorship case - asking for a judge to oversee the matter instead.

Lutfi filed the papers on Friday, but they did not reach the court in time for a hearing on Monday in which Commissioner Reva Goetz extended a temporary restraining order against him until 16 April.

His one-sentence filing says, "Please take notice that Osama "Sam" Lutfi will not stipulate to the above-referenced case being heard by Reva Goetz, commissioner presiding, to whom the above-entitled case has been assigned."

The document was signed by Lutfi and indicated he was representing himself.

Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini told Lutfi he would be able to appear in court on 16 April, the date to which the restraining order has been extended, to make a request for the case to be reassigned to a court judge.

Commissioners perform many of the same duties as judges, but all parties involved in the proceedings must agree to one hearing a case - which means Lutfi has the right to demand a judge oversee the case instead.

At the weekend (Beg15Mar08), Lufti's representative Michael Sands insisted Spears' former manager will stay away from the troubled Toxic star until the order is revised.

Jamie Spears, the pop superstar's father, and his estranged wife Lynne, Britney's mother, won a restraining order against Lutfi when he took charge of the singer's legal and financial affairs last month.
