Andy Gorostiaga is an Argentine actor from Berazategui, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Son of Antonio Gorostiaga and Liliana Del Carmen Cáceres, he has always enjoyed movies of all types. When he was 15 years old, he decided he wanted to become a professional actor.
He landed his first leading role as Mirko in "Broder", the first Latin American series about hip hop, alongside urban music stars Nucleo AKA Tinta Sucia, Klan, Cazzu and Tiago PZK. Winner for Best Short Form Series at the Cannes International Series Festival 2020, "Broder" also won many awards in Buenos Aires, USA, Brazil, South Korea.
He portrayed Marcos Vicente Cárdenas in "Three Brothers", a film directed by Francisco Paparella about three brothers, hunters and heavy metal aficionados, who struggle with their personal issues in the dense Argentinian Patagonia. It won the Astor Piazzola Special Jury Award at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival 2022 and the Golden St. George for Best Film at the Moscow Film Festival 2023.
He was cast as Tom in "Lost & Found", his first international feature film, a thriller directed by Jorge Dorado from a screenplay by Natxo López which stars Álvaro Morte, China Suárez, and Verónica Echegui. The plot follows a worker in a "lost and found" warehouse, who finds a suitcase with the remains of baby inside. His investigation leads him to a dangerous prostitution and trafficking ring. It was shot in Madrid, Jujuy and Buenos Aires
His directorial debut, "1 of Those Days", an innovative vertical series created, shot and produced exclusively for Instagram, premiered during the pandemic. He is also the main editor of the series and is part of the cast. "1 of Those Days" was created and written by Sabrina Barca, and has received the Luna de Valencia Award for Best Webseries at the Valencia International Film Festival CinemaJove 2021
Andy also participated in different productions like "El Marginal" , "Estocolmo: Identidad perdida", "Natalia Natalia", among others.
