Girls Aloud Group Steps Out Together After Announcing Reunion Tour! (Photos)
Image
The ladies of Girls Aloud are celebrating the exciting news that they are heading out on tour next year!

Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh, and Cheryl posed for photos while exiting Zoe Ball’s BBC Breakfast Show on Thursday (November 23) in London, England.

The group’s fifth member, Sarah Harding, passed away in September 2021 at the age of 39.

The UK and Ireland arena tour was announced to celebrate the group’s 21st anniversary.

Cheryl said, “We all started talking about the possibility of doing something to celebrate Girls Aloud’s 20-year anniversary a few years ago. The anniversary seemed like an obvious thing that we would celebrate. But when Sarah fell ill all priorities changed. She passed away a year before the anniversary and it just didn’t feel right, it felt too soon. But now, I think there is an energy that does makes it feel right. It...

How much are this year’s I’m a Celebrity contestants being paid?
Image
I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has returned for a brand new series with a fresh bunch of contestants.

The ITV series is taking place in Wales, as opposed to Australia, for the second year running due to the pandemic

Proceedings kicked off last week with a bumper episode that saw broadcaster Richard Madeley and Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge led two teams in the first Bushtucker Trial. Madeley has since been forced to exit the series after he was taken to hospital as a “precaution” due to ill health.

While many viewers usually express sympathy for the contestants as they participate in these challenging trials, it’s worth remembering they’ve been paid good money to be on the show.

So, how much is each celebrity earning for their appearance in the reality series? The full amount haven’t been officially announced, but this year’s highest-paid star...

Sarah Harding had hoped to attend her Gala dinner, says Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Tweedy
Image
Sarah Harding had hoped to be able to attend her Gala dinner before she died, Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Tweedy has revealed.

Harding died of breast cancer in September last year at the age of 39, but revealed her final wish while staying with Tweedy weeks before her death. She was apparently keen to be able to thank those who had helped her during her illness.

"I asked her over and over again how we could help. Was there anything she truly wanted or needed?” wrote Tweedy in an article for Vogue.

“Finally she said to me: ‘I would love you to create an evening, a gala of some kind for me. If I am here and can attend I will be able to thank those who have helped me through all of this, and pay that forward in a way that will help others when I’m gone.’”

But the...

The Girls Aloud star died of breast cancer in September last year at the age of 39.

Donated by The Connor Brothers and the Maddox Gallery, the artwork is an oil painted canvas of Harding accompanied by the words: “The Darkest Nights Produce the Brightest Stars.”

The print will be auctioned at the The Primrose Ball – named after Harding’s favourite flower – which takes place in her memory on 8 October at The Londoner Hotel.

As well as the original artwork, 10 hand finished prints will also be offered through a “reverse auction” as the final lot of the evening.

The oil painting and the hand-finished prints will be co-signed by the Connor Brothers,...

On Thursday’s sixth episode, we see the fallout of the singling out of Scarlett play out in two classic challenges: Reading Is Fundamental and Snatch Game. Read below for our recap of episode 6 to find out in “Snatch Game”:

Following Charity’s elimination, River Medway got right to the point as the girls sat down to decompress. River asked straight away whether or not anyone thought Charity won the lip sync.

Pin Cushion Review
In Deborah Haywood’s debut feature Pin Cushion, Joanna Scanlan and Lily Newmark (Solo: A Star Wars Story) star as a close-knit mother and daughter who move to a new town for a fresh start, only to encounter bullying at the hands of those who refuse to see beyond their apparent oddities and twee lifestyle. Loosely based on Haywood’s own childhood, the film relies heavily on its inspired magical realist and whimsical aesthetics to tell a beautifully well observed and sometimes harrowing story of alienation and painful childhood memories.

Lynn (Scanlan) and daughter Iona (Newmark) have always had a strong mother/daughter bond. Spending every waking hours together and referring to each other as “Dafty 1 and 2”, the pair had until now lived a beautifully sheltered and trouble-free life, but all this changes when they move to a new neighbourhood. Soon Lynn’s visible physical disability and Iona’s odd...

Louis Walsh v Cheryl Fernandez-Versini: A history of hilarious insults, from X Factor to Twitter
Could Simon Cowell not take a day out of his hectic schedule to (lightly) bang Louis Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's heads together?

The bickering pair, who should know better, just cannot let bygones be bygones as they publicly entered their latest war of words.

Walsh seems to be at his most content when he's shooting his mouth off about the star, recently igniting their age-old feud by describing her as "lazy" and irrelevant" during his latest interview.

Cheryl took the bait and claimed Walsh - who previously dressed up as the popstar for a laugh - must have "some kind of an obsession" with her, and advised him to use his mouth to "say something positive". Which seems unlikely...

Even Simon Cowell has commented on their spat and likened the pair to Tom and Jerry.

17 X Factor theme weeks that could help save the show
No.1's Week. Movie Week. '80s Week. Zzzzz.

Is it any wonder that X Factor ratings are tumbling when the show's theme weeks continue to be so predictable? Someone is singing 'Listen' from Dreamgirls you say? Gosh, we've never heard that before.

In the spirit of goodwill, we've got some suggestions that might spice things up and get some songs on a Saturday night that we haven't heard murdered 256 times before.

1. Sing Your Name Week

Inspired by the brilliantly named Ben Haenow, who could perform Crowded House's 'Don't Dream It's Over' ("Hey Now! Hey Now!"), everyone has to sing a song connected to their name.

Fleur East can tackle anything by East 17, Stereo Kicks can tackle a Stereophonics vs Rizzle Kicks mash-up, Lola Saunders can tackle the Kinks classic, Jack Walton could attempt 'Hit The Road Jack' and Only The Young could murder 'We Are Young'.

2. Simon Cowell...

X Factor week 3 review: Is the Cheryl obsession ruining the show?
Who thought we'd ever reach the day that we'd be watching The X Factor and wonder, 'Seriously, I'd love to hear what Louis Walsh thinks.'

The X Factor's club mascot has barely been seen in the first five episodes of the new series, reduced merely to giggling and guffawing on the sidelines at every Simon Cowell one-liner, as if the high-trousered one is the lovechild of Eric Morecambe and Tommy Cooper.

If Walsh has barely been noticable, Dermot O'Leary has been like a TV version of Where's Wally. There hasn't even been room for his famous bulge to spin its way onto the screen.

On the Live Shows, he may be more slick than scintillating, but he's not even had the chance to wheel out his usual monster hugs at the auditions this year. Poor old Derm's been reduced to a role shorter than James Arthur's record career.

Dog the Bounty Hunter, Charlie Sheen: CBB stars that never were
Celebrity Big Brother is set to commence on Channel 5 this Thursday (August 22), and along with the anticipation comes the (at times ridiculous) list of rumoured celebrities - which let's face it, often outweighs the reality.

Jessie J quits 'The Voice' UK: Who should replace her?
Jessie J became the first coach to jump out of the good Voice UK ship today (July 5), claiming that her music commitments rule her out of the BBC talent show's third cycle of spinning chairs.

She further said that Nadine Coyle had never thought of announcing the split of the band but at the same time they did not want to mislead the fans.

She insisted that the members of the group had grown old and added that she just hopes that at the age of 45 she doesn't turn.
