Geyner Bermúdez
- Actor
Geyner is a Meisner trained actor known for his versatility in playing opposite characters from the human personification of Death in "La Hija de La Muerte" to an eccentric husband in "The Wish of the Fisherman" to a white collar thug in "Eterno y el Río".
He has worked with local Costa Rican and international directors in feature films where he has been a valuable asset by not only organically adapting to the director's vision but bringing creative solutions to the table. Geyner is a polymath, his ability to proficiently fast-learn new skills makes him an anomaly, in the good way. He's committed, responsible, professional, kind and a people person who's easy to work with.
His dream of becoming an actor laid dormant until 2018 when he decided to turn that dream into a reality. Geyner started studying in different local and international academies and quickly started auditioning for commercials and films. On that same year, he was cast as a lead in the upcoming film "La Hija de La Muerte" while maintaining a balance between his acting career and his day time job as a graphic designer for a technology company.
Over the following years, he worked on awarded short films like "Como un Desconocido", directed by Eric Muñoz and "Alunizaje", directed by Melany Mora as well as other short films, commercials and voice overs.
As his acting career was taking off, Geyner decided to make the bold move to quit his job of 23 years and focus entirely on acting, voice over and radio. He strongly believes we are here on this earth to do what we love and to have peace of mind and happiness.
On 2022 he was cast as a lead for several college short films and as a supporting actor for two international and one local films.
