The Queen has her corgis — and now Prince Charles has his golden retrievers!

The first-in-line to the British throne paid a visit to the ITV studio in London for a taping of This Morning on Wednesday, but got far more than he bargained for when Digby the studio dog – who’s in training to become a guide dog – clamped his jaws around some sound equipment.

The lineup for this year's Pointless Celebrities series has been announced by BBC One.

Beginning with an August 9 comedy special, the upcoming series will feature different themes each week.

Four teams of two from the world of music, TV, soaps, sport, food and drink, journalism, radio and theatre will compete for charity in weekly specials to air on Saturday evenings on BBC One.

The first show pits Lesley Joseph and Linda Robson from Birds of a Feather against Ronni Ancona and Phil Cornwell, Su Pollard and Ruth Madoc, and Josh Widdicombe and his partner Sara Pascoe.

Standout teams from the series include Stefan Dennis and fellow Neighbours star Rebekah Elmaloglou, who will square off against Ray Quinn and Louis Emerick from Brookside.

Antony Costa from Blue will team with 5ive's Scott Robinson in the music special, while TV stars Louie Spence and Carol McGiffin will face off against the likes...

Christopher Biggins, Jls singer Jb, model Jodie Kidd and former soap star Todd Carty are among the celebrities taking part in Celebrity MasterChef this year.

Made In Chelsea's Millie Macintosh, actress Leslie Ash and former Coronation Street star Ken Morley have also signed up to be judged by hosts John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

The full list of 20 celebs also includes: Tina Hobley, Alex Ferns, Amanda Burton, Sophie Thompson, Emma Barton, Kiki Dee, Jason Connery, Alison Hammond, Tania Bryer, Russell Grant, Charley Boorman, Wayne Sleep and Susannah Constantine.

Six weeks of shows will see the celebrities whittled down through a series of challenges, which will include cooking for past MasterChef champions, the first ever Relay Invention Test, facing the dreaded restaurant critics and feeding the "Italian cooking-mafia" - Antonio Carluccio, Aldo Zilli, Theo Randall and Giorgio Locatelli.

What is the idea behind The Big Allotment Challenge?

The show sees nine duos (friends, parents and children, partners and so on) taking on an allotment each and cultivating flowers and produce. After months of gardening, the challenges begin - with each episode featuring a grow challenge (produce a sterling veggie), a make challenge (flower arranging) and an eat challenge (make a tasty preserve). Each instalment also sees one duo saying a sad goodbye.

Janet Street-Porter, Les Dennis and Ade Edmondson are the trio who have rustled up tarts, pastas, meat and two veg and a healthy dollop of puddings for judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode.

Gregg Wallace has claimed that Victoria Hervey was the worst ever Celebrity MasterChef contestant. Chef Gordon Ramsay is doing his part to help fundraising for the Boundary Oak School near Portsmouth in the south of England. The chef has contributed a recipe to the school cook book to help raise money for the school.

He even took his contribution to a new level by recruiting other celebrity chefs such as Gary Rhodes, Nigella Lawson, Nick Nairn and Phil Vickery to submit recipes.

The registrar at the school was pleased with the outcome saying, "It's been an incredibly successful project.
