- Nola Aoki Epps is a curious, fun, young talent with a sunny soul. Because she is a highly social human, she can easily bring positive vibes to all who may encounter her. At such a young age, she has already found her passion in the performing arts and has proven to be a seasoned professional (in kid years, of course) in the business of film and television.
At age six, she snagged her first role as Attallah Shabazz (daughter of Malcolm X) in Regina King's directorial debut film, One Night in Miami, opposite Kingsley Ben-Adir . The movie snagged high marks and multiple awards. Her TV credits include series regular roles in Ordinary Joe and Dope Sick. Nola has also guest-starred in FBI and her latest project, Abbott Elementary. Nola starred in a major national commercial for Capital One, where she had a blast at a birthday party opposite long-term spokesperson Jeremy Brandt. When Nola is not auditioning or filming, she spends her spare time hanging out with friends, playing volleyball, dancing, singing, and taking swimming lessons. Her other interests include playing the guitar, singing, writing scripts, and planning to direct her own films.- IMDb mini biography by: Natasha Feliciano
