Kate is an award-winning writer from New Zealand. She studied screenwriting at the New York Film Academy, where she was inspired to pursue her passion for storytelling. She thrives on crafting fun, diverse narratives, often featuring strong female leads.

She has won Best Comedy Screenplay and Best Pacing at the New York Script Awards and Best Female Screenwriter at the Hollywood International Indie Screenplay Awards for her romantic comedy script 'Just a Hitch'. Her feature scripts have all garnered global recognition.

Kate is also credited as the writer of 'Twitch' as well as the script consultant on 'Opia', both award-winning short films.
