A Guernsey-born Actor and Screenwriter. Cameron Ashplant has portrayed a variety of characters across genres in a range of independent films, co-leading casts that also included Christopher Eccleston, Mark Gatiss, Paterson Joseph, Tilly Keeper, and Tim McInnerny.
After becoming a member of the National Youth Theatre, he studied Human Geography at Durham University, where he won the most prestigious acting award, after praise for his 'ability to create a lump in your throat when you least expect it' (The Palatinate Newspaper).
Since beginning his career professionally in theatre in North East England, he has continued acting and writing, also serving as the presenter and producer for the 3-part TV series 'The Balkans'. In 2022, Cameron moved to London.
He has appeared in several award winning films from which he has received awards from international film festivals. Ashplant has filmed in locations across Europe, and toured in theatre across the UK, continuing to carve out a reputation as a diverse naturalistic actor with a wide range across genres, morphing himself into several unrecognizable characters.
