Dalen Spratt, Marcus Harvey, and Juwan Mass in Ghost Brothers: Haunted Houseguests (2019)
Ghost Brothers: Lights Out is finally back for Season 2 at Discovery+, and we got stars Marcus Harvey, Juwan Mass, and Dalen Spratt in the TV Insider and TV Guide Magazine New York Comic Con 2022 studio to dish on the new episodes. They say the season was dedicated to ticking off every haunted locale on their “paranormal bucket list.” The trio has been working together for years, and as seen in the Ghost Brothers Comic Con video interview, above, their chemistry is as strong as ever. Heading into the new, “wild” episodes, streaming now with ones dropping Fridays, Mass says, “We go to all the iconic haunted spots. All the things that people said are the scariest, we go to. Bobby Mackey’s [haunted nightclub], we go to Waverly Hills [Sanatorium], we go to Ohio State Reformatory, The Conjuring house.” Quite the list of ghostly haunts, indeed. “We’ve had some of the craziest...

‘Ghost Adventures’ Star Zak Bagans Was So Shaken by Latest Investigation He Says ‘It Will Forever Put a Mark on Us’ (Video)
Image
Zak Bagans and his “Ghost Adventures” crew are used to getting spooked by shadow figures, apparitions, disembodied voices and things that shouldn’t move but do. But their latest investigation of Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall in Downey, California, left them traumatized for weeks afterward and fearful that the place was driving them crazy.

“Was this a playground of the deranged, or was the devil itself invited in?” Bagans asked of the location of the new 2-hour special on Discovery+. “Whatever is here has created a nest that is fueling evil spirits, demons, inhuman entities. This place was known as Devil’s Den.”

Check out the “Ghost Adventures: Devil’s Den” teaser in the video above.

Portals to Hell Series Opens on Travel Channel
Tony Sokol Feb 12, 2019

Travel Channel will feature vacations of the damned in new series Portals to Hell.

Everyone has their own vacation-from-hell stories, but paranormal researcher Katrina Weidman and Ozzy Osbourne's adventurer son Jack Osbourne put together an itinerary to cover when the destination is damnation. The former producer of SyFy's Haunted Highway will steer the Paranormal State breakout star in the new Travel Channel series Portals To Hell.

Looking to uncover what lies within notorious haunted locations, Osbourne and Weidman will "dive headfirst" into a different historical site where unusual incidents were reported in each of the eight hour-long episodes. The pair will use specialized technology and have a network of experts on call to help document and uncover the truth. “The show’s unique docu-style format immerses viewers in each investigation, allowing the audience to experience every goose bump, chill and unexpected surprise right alongside the team,...

Travel Channel Heads To ‘Portals To Hell’ Rather Than Traditional Travelogues – TCA
Discovery’s Travel Channel is searching for ghosts following its rebrand rather than focusing on traditional travelogues.

The network rebranded at the end of last year with a new logo – Trvl – and has launched a raft of paranormal series including Ghost Adventures, Haunted Live, specials including Chris Jericho: Monster Hunt and month-long event Ghostober.

Its latest series is Portals to Hell starring Jack Osboune and paranormal researcher and investigator Katrina Weidman.

Travel Channel boss Jane Latman told Deadline, “You can see from the logo that we’re trying to redefine what travel is for today’s audience. We have a saying in our development room which is ‘if you can find it on YouTube or Yelp, let’s not make a TV show about it’. We’re really trying to redefine the brand for today.”

Osbourne also joked to Deadline, “We also went to eight different cities.”

The show,...

Paranormal Lockdown Corks Up the Spirits
Tony Sokol Nov 20, 2018

Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman are haunted hostages as Paranormal Lockdown season 3 throws away the skeleton key.

Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman might be suffering from a kind of spiritual Stockholm Syndrome. The two paranormal investigators endured two seasons of location shooting where they would spend an "unprecedented 72 hours confined to the most haunted locations in search of groundbreaking evidence of the paranormal," according to a press statement from Destination America about their show, Paranormal Lockdown. In that time, they've formed a special bond with their ethereal captors. Season 3 will see the pair toss back some moonshine in old Kentucky.

"In response to employee claims that bourbon isn’t the only spirit locked inside the massive warehouses on the property," Paranormal Lockdown season 3 will feature the first-ever televised paranormal investigation of the Jim Beam American Stillhouse in Clermont, Ky.

Review: Step Inside The Demon House
Premiering in 2008, Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures has been a tour of allegedly haunted locations in the Us and abroad for ten seasons and counting. Host Zak Bagans has earned a reputation as the “bad boy” of paranormal investigation, the guy who defies and mouths off to spirits on a regular basis. This confrontational attitude has earned him the ire of more than one ghost; during an overnight stay at Bobby Mackey’s Music World in Kentucky – long thought to be a direct portal to Hell – he ended up with some pretty nasty and unexplained scratches on his back. Bagans now takes his particular brand of paranormal investigation to the big screen in Demon House and in many ways, it functions as a full-length...

Nick Groff Talks Ghost Adventures Part 3: Skeptics, What's Next and Fan Questions
Here we are at the final chapter of our in-depth interview with "Ghost Adventures" star Nick Groff. Thus far we've covered the crew's beginnings as well as Nick's greatest fears. Now it's time to check out his view on skeptics, what's next, and your questions.

"It doesn’t bother me whatsoever," says Groff of the myriad people trying to discredit or debunk what they do. "Everybody has their own mind to make up. At the end of the day I’m not here to be the one to try and convince everyone. You have to go out there and have your own personal experience. The key is to go out and experience it for yourself and try it with an open mind. You can’t be one-sided in this world. There are too many unexplainable things out there that have been happening for centuries and centuries. From people talking about...

Nick Groff Talks Ghost Adventures Part 2: Facing His Fears
Okay, "Ghost Adventures" fans. Our interview series now continues with Nick Groff, who talks spectres, Bobby Mackey's, and more. Sit back and gear up for another in-depth interview lockdown.

In Part 1 of our interview with Nick Groff, we discussed the group's origins, and now we kick off Part 2 by heading back into the dreaded Bobby Mackey's.

"We were still new," says Groff of his "Ghost Adventures" team. "It was 2008 and we had just we come off the documentary, and a couple months later we geared up for Bobby Mackey’s. In retrospect we still weren’t fully able to comprehend and understand negative energy on the side of what we know as demonic. These types of happenings have more of a negative effect on your own spiritual self. You can lose track. That’s the number one scariest thing that somebody can encounter... negative impact or negative energy at locations.

Zak Bagans Talks Ghost Adventures - Part 3: What's Next and Fan Questions
Here we are. Finally at the conclusion of our in-depth interview with "Ghost Adventures" frontman Zak Bagans (read Part One here and read Part Two here). Closing things out, Zak talks about what's next for him, shares his dream investigations, and answers some of Your questions.

Having been to and investigated so many different haunted areas across the world, Zak waxed on about what would be his ultimate ghost adventure ... "I’d like to kind of get a break from American history and American spirits. Go deeper. I’m so interested in how certain cultures, thousands and thousands of years ago, had the beliefs that they did. How they were able to build the way they did. They lived on a different planet, man. They didn’t live on Earth. Or Earth as we perceive it today. As far as I’m concerned they were like different beings. They knew...

Zak Bagans Talks Ghost Adventures - Part 2: Entering Hell's Gate - Bobby Mackey's Music World
In anticipation of Season 6 of Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures", we continue our in-depth interview with frontman Zak Bagans (read Part One here). In this installment we go back to one of the crew's most challenging haunts, Bobby Mackey's Music World (Season 1, Episode 1; Season 4, Episode 3), to talk about how it affected them.

"When we went to Bobby Mackey's in Season 1, I was a idiot," says Bagans, candidly reflecting on the horrors that followed. "I didn’t understand too much of this yet. Let me be honest with you... we’ve grown a lot since then, and when we went there, I did something really stupid. What happened there didn’t really have an effect on me when I left. It wasn’t until we went back there for an event where we invited a hundred people back to join us on a hunt. Obviously since we are experiencing...

Zak Bagans Talks Ghost Adventures - Part 1: What to Expect from Season 6
With Season Six of Travel Channel's popular series "Ghost Adventures" on the horizon, we sat down with frontman Zak Bagans for a very candid and personal interview. We covered a wide range of subjects, and here's Part One, which is devoted to what fans can expect from the new season.

As a certified paranormal buff, I like many of you take in every single show about ghosts that I possibly can, and Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures" has always stood out, if only for its unconventionality. Here were three brash investigators doing things their own way for better or worse. No matter what you believe, it's hard to argue that it's anything less than both compelling and entertaining.

As is this interview... The paranormal has long been a hot button issue amongst the masses so we decided to open things up with Zak's views on investigations and their true meanings.
