The announcement was made after the spin-off series aired its 13th episode in Japan. Along with the renewal, Crunchyroll announced that it will continue to roll out new episodes simultaneously with the Japanese release, and the new episodes are set to debut in 2026. The villain injects people with the Trigger, a drug designed to dial people's Quirks up to eleven and create instant villains who terrorize the city. In Episode 9, however, the drug reached a new level when it came in contact with an animal.

The latest Detective Conan episode wrapped up with an unexpected treat—a crossover video announcing that Shin Samurai-den Yaiba, a brand-new anime based on Gōshō Aoyama’s Yaiba manga, is officially set to premiere on April 5.

The highly anticipated second of three Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash films has now received new confirmation from distributor Shochiku of its production status.

Film producer and distributor Shochiku celebrated its 130th anniversary at an event this week, spotlighting its upcoming slate of both live-action and anime titles. Per Eiga Natalie, this notably included Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash Part 2, first announced in 2021, with Shochiku confirming the film is currently in production. While no release window was confirmed, given the rest of Shochiku's current film lineup has dates up until Winter 2025, this is likely the earliest that fans can expect the highly anticipated Gundam film sequel.

The upcoming Secrets of the Silent Witch anime, based on the light novel series by Matsuri Isora and Nanna Fujimi, is gearing up for its 2025 release. A new teaser has been shared, along with a visual and additional cast details.

Among the new voices joining the show are Hitomi Nabatame as Nero, Junichi Suwabe as Louis Miller, and Saya Aizawa as Monica Everett.

The anime is being produced by Aniplex and is based on the series that originally launched in February 2020 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Kadokawa began publishing the novels in June 2021, with the eighth volume released in August 2024.

Since One Piece’s debut in 1999, many characters have adopted some similarities to Luffy. Leaks circulating on social media claim that an anime adaptation of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run is currently in production.

First significant leaks came earlier this year in August, claiming that trademarks for the anime were registered in Japan as early as June 2022, with further registrations for a TV anime production filed in China in April 2024.

The latest round of leaks which came on Dec 12, 2024, suggest that the production phase for Steel Ball Run began in August 2024, with David Production, the studio behind previous JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure adaptations, reportedly handling the animation.

No release date or official confirmation has been announced, but speculation points to a potential release no earlier than 2026.

The timing of the leaks has led to speculation about their origin, with some saying that the information could stem from Jojo Magazine or related December content.

Pony Canyon announced on Nov 28, 2024, that the second season of Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc anime is scheduled to release on Jan 12, 2025.

It was also revealed that Netflix will stream the new season worldwide weekly from Jan 13, 2025.

Season 2 continues the saga with the second stage of the battle, which unfolds at the Tottori Sand Dunes, pitting the allied forces of Seigi and Akuma, including Kinnikuman, against the Perfect Large Numbers Corps, including Nemesis.

Now that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 - The Conflict is at its halfway point, the cour understandably needed a quick break from the heavy action so that the story could catch up. This was the main purpose for last week's middling episode, and this extended break continues over in this week's outing. But where last week's episode could be regarded as the closest thing to a filler episode that The Conflict had, "The Holy Newborn" does a bit more than just prepare the final battle's stage even if doesn't show a single fight.

Hit dark fantasy shonen series Jujutsu Kaisen has some of anime's most stylish characters, but now their fans can also get in on the action. Japanese eyewear brand Zoff has announced an exciting collaboration with the hit franchise, serving a collection of five separate frames showcasing the series' fan-favorite sorcerers.

Jjk diehards have their pick of the fan-favorite litter. Via PR Times, the set pays tribute to a handful of iconic Jujutsu Kaisen characters, with the collection including glasses frames inspired by Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo and Kento Nanami. Each Zoff frame evokes the general appearance of characters through colorways, but also their signature Cursed Techniques.
