Matthew Godden is best known for his dynamic physicality and an infectious smile that can brighten any room. His journey into acting began in 2012, when he helped a friend with a short film titled Hi, My Name Is. Years later, when the film resurfaced on YouTube, it reignited a passion for storytelling and set the stage for Matthew's pursuit of a career in film and television.
After committing to formal training at a respected local acting school, Matthew began to secure professional credits. He earned his first ACTRA roles in Wrath of God and Foul, with the latter premiering at the 2022 Calgary International Film Festival.
In the winter of 2024, Matthew booked his first principal role in a major feature film, PrankNight, appearing opposite acclaimed actor Chad Rook. This marked a significant milestone in his professional acting career.
When not on set, Matthew thrives as a strength and conditioning coach locally in Calgary, Alberta, where he also competes as a Professional Powerlifter. His passion for both physical and creative pursuits continues to drive his multifaceted career.
