Joan Collins will be making her way back to the big screen in a new independent film called "Fetish." The dark movie will begin filming this week in New York City.
The film tells the story of an iconic actress on the skids and making a play for a comeback with a late night talk show host. The screenplay for the film was written by Charles Casillo, who also stars in the film. Casillo was last know as the writer and director of the independent feature film, "Let Me Die Quietly," which received critical acclaim in last year's film festival circuit.
Director Matt Pellowski will helm the picture in association with his production company Red Line Studios.
In an interview with Liz Smith, Collins recently described the film as "Twilight Zone" meets "Sunset Boulevard" meets "David Letterman." The film will feature fashion designs by Mark Zunino, a protégé of Nolan Miller,...

Is it only fitting that Oral Fixation (now out on DVD from LifeSize) sucks? This isn’t even a horror flick—it’s a thriller with no bite, a bland, boring and badly acted low-budget Fatal Attraction clone that quickly grows long in the tooth. Ok, that’s enough bad mouth jokes; I’m truly and sincerely sorry, but for some reason this movie set my teeth on edge. Perhaps I was predetermined to dislike this film because of my own oral fixations—I talk too much, eat all the time, overindulge in sugar and am constantly chewing on my nails. I blame my mom.
