Andy McGrath is a paranormal researcher and folklorist with over 25 + years' experience in the field. A Speaker, Investigator, Podcaster and Author (A Monster Kids Guide/Beasts of Britain/Hairy Humanoids) He is also the host of new television series - Weird Britain (History/Blaze) that seeks to celebrate the wonderful, histories, mysteries, folklore and fables of the British Isles!

Called the Sherlock Holmes of the paranormal, Andy seamlessly connects modern-day encounters with ancient folklore, painting a picture of unknown creatures and unusual phenomena that might exist beyond the edge of scientific discovery and the human imagination!

Andy regularly appears on TV, radio, and podcast shows, such as: Talk Radio, The Unexplained with Howard Hughes, Paranormal Activity with Yvette Fielding, Sasquatch Chronicles, and Britain's largest breakfast television show - This Morning. He is a contributor to newspaper - The Daily Star and has featured in several popular documentaries.

Andy also hosts the Beastly Theories Podcast, a self-described hopeful endeavour to discuss the highs and lows of paranormal research and obsession, with some of the most renowned researchers in the field; wherein he seeks to avail himself (and you) of the prize of knowledge that lies inside their brawny brains!

Expedition Sumatra: In Search of the Orang Pendek

During filming for season 2 of Weird Britain, Andy McGrath, Comedian Billy Kirkwood and Director Matt Everett got lost after dark in a Scottish forest while searching for the remains of a goblin castle! The team were thankfully rescued by a couple and their dog (2 Edinburgh Bus Drivers) who were passing through the forest on an evening stroll.

Andy loves Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster and to date has written several books on the subject - Yeti: A Monster Kids Guide/ Nessie: A Monster Kids Guide/Beasts of Britain/Hairy Humanoids [Beasts of the World Vol.1] .
