Lawrence "Hollywood" Blakey was born in Louisville, Ky on March 3, 1971. He is the second oldest of 7 by Elder Mitchell Blakey Sr. and Evangelist Wanda Blakey whom are both preachers of the Gospel. Lawrence started his Acting career in theaters under Director Charles Westmoreland. Years later he would enter the Silver Screen and on TV and then began his first role as the valet guy on Greenleaf Oprah Winfrey's OWN Tv Network. Lawrence landed another role as the FBI Agent on Ambitions by Will Packer. In the midst of filming he landed another role on the upcoming thriller movie "Control" as Sgt. Blake and funny Comedy Sitcom "Simply Me" Lawrence plays as lead character Brian. Film Director Chris Donaldson. Lawrence is eager to learn the entertainment field and business from one of his good friends and one whom he came to admire Actress Essence Atkins.
