Bold and straight talking Monika is probably best remembered for her brief participation in the very first season of Polish Big Brother (2001).
Born in Makow Podhalanski in the southern, mountainous region of Poland, Monika met her husband - Jerzy Sewiolo - at the age of 15 and was a housewife before taking part in the show. Her confident personality and attractive looks compelled the audience, nevertheless, she became the second person to be voted off. Movie roles in Gulczas, what do you think... (2001) and Rób swoje, ryzyko jest twoje (2002) followed. She recorded a cover song "Urodzilam sie, by grac" for the soundtrack of the Big Brother's first season and released a full length album titled "Wiatr" (Wind) with Nietykalni band.
After several years in show business Monika returned to living a "normal life" and appears occasionally in promotional events.
