Raunaq finds joy in the rhythm of Producing. With over a decade in the industry, Raunaq has produced an Oscar Winning Documentary Short film, and worked with the likes of YRF Films, Sikhya Entertainment. He began his career in advertising for brands including Coke, Instagram, Facebook, Ray-Ban, AXA etc. Switching to fiction, features & shows included, he served as a Creative Producer on a slate of web-series under the Y-Films banner, a wing of India's long running film production house, Yash Raj Films. One of his most notable web-series is India's first Sex-Education series, Sex Chat with Pappu and Papa which also screened at the Raindance Film Festival in 2016. Since, he honed skills in development and writing work including writing for Facebook India's first ever keynote, Fuel for India as well as a web-series titled Pyaar Actually, streaming on Hotstar. As an independent Producer, he produced his first short film titled 'Unresolved', an understanding of gender roles in the average Indian household and the complexity of courage that forces us to live on in our current conditioning. Currently, he balances his time between Producing and Developing projects with Sikhya Entertainment - a boutique production house in the Asian region known for its deep rooted storytelling. Most recently, he served as an Associate Producer on The Elephant Whisperer's which is India's first film and documentary to win an Oscar.
