Othman is the child of Iraqi Turkmen war refugees-a background that profoundly influences his work. Drawing from personal experiences with PTSD, he channels complex emotions and lived realities into art, focusing on nuanced explorations of the human condition.
Yusuf is best known for writing Englemageren (2023), as well as writing and directing Jeg tror jeg elsker dig (2025) and Prayer (2026). Beyond film, he directed the critically noted video game Inauthentic Hummus (2024), further expanding his creative reach into interactive storytelling.
