Alex Bergen(III)
- Actor
Alex Bergen is a multi-disciplinary actor from Calgary, AB. As a performer, Alex is at home on stage, appearing and performing in lead roles in dozens of musicals and other stage productions. Behind the microphone in his voice-over work, Alex is just as well adjusted, lending his voice to over 25 unique characters, ranging in ages and sounds from a young boy to an adult man. His range is impressive but youthful energy and spirit often land him playing young men and teenagers.
Alex has been working as an actor in various mediums since he was a child and has appeared across the world in projects ranging from Beyblade Burst, Cardfight!! Vanguard, FutureCard Buddy Fight, Kiznaiver; to Nintendo's 3DS video game hit 'LBX', as well as voicing ESL programs to kids learning English for the first time overseas. He is also comfortable in front of the camera, having worked on camera in various films. He also has extensive commercial experience and has worked with clients such as The Calgary Stampede, GameSense, The AGLC, and The Alberta Bottle Depot.
He is versatile and adaptable, giving a range of emotions from expressive to subdued. He is just as comfortable performing for crowds of hundreds as he is giving a nuanced performance on camera, and can channel all of the range and emotions needed to colour a performance with just his voice in any animation project.
As a trained singer and musician, he is also adept at complex harmonies and site-reading music, and dabbles in guitar and ukulele. He loves collaborating with other artists, trying new artistic challenges, and loves to learn and grow with every opportunity.
