James graduated from Mountview Theatre school in 1998 having won a full scholarship. He has had a long and varied career, ranging from the National Theatre to Film, Television, Commercials and Voice Over. James has featured in Coronation Street, Eastenders, Doctors, Holby City, Hollyoaks and The Bill to name a few. He can also be heard voicing a number of characters on Thomas and Friends.
