One of the most cherished British mystery series is back with a delightful update about its next chapter, not long after its latest season blessed fans with an unforgettable ending. Fans last saw Death in Paradise about a month ago, on Friday, March 28, when the Season 14 finale aired, leaving viewers with even more questions than answers. Fortunately, those much-needed answers will soon be provided as it has been confirmed that filming has officially begun on Season 15 of Death in Paradise.

Via Radio Times, a first-look image of the brand-new Detective Inspector Mervin Wilson (Don Gilet) has been released ahead of the hotly-anticipated Christmas special of the beloved British detective series, Death in Paradise. On air for thirteen years and counting, Death in Paradise has been a staple of those looking for a crime drama without the intensity, as the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie makes for the calming location of many an intriguing mystery.

We are only a few weeks away from the introduction of Don Gilet as the new Di on Death In Paradise. A Christmas special will air in December, followed by the 14th series in 2025. Goldberg will take up the mantle of Bird Woman, God of Birds, and one of the show’s key antagonists. The six-episode series stars Malachi Kirby in the leading roles of brothers Fat Charlie and Spider.

Egypt’s El Gouna Film Festival (Gff), rescheduled to take place in person Oct. 23-31, has announced the 18 finalist projects selected to participate in this year’s 4th edition of the CineGouna Platform for projects produced or co-produced by Mena countries, running Oct. 25-30.

Also in its fourth year, CineGouna SpringBoard, a co-production lab dedicated to supporting regional projects, will feature 65 projects in development and 34 films in post-production.

Popular Cbbc program Wizards vs. Aliens will make its U.S. debut on The Hub network on June 1. TV bosses behind British soap opera Eastenders are reshooting scenes for a controversial storyline involving an attack on a prostitute in the wake of a series of shocking murders in the U.K.

An episode of the soap, due to air next week (beg07Jun10), shows character Lucas Johnson, played by Don Gilet, visiting a red light district and attacking a sex worker named Jade.

But several scenes are now being reshot by TV executives as a mark of respect to the families of three murdered prostitutes in Bradford, England.

PhD student Stephen Griffiths, 40, has been charged with the killings.

A representative for the BBC show says, "EastEnders storylines are written many months in advance and any similarity to real-life events is coincidental.

"However, on this occasion, to ensure we do not cause distress to the families involved in the recent tragic events in Bradford we have decided to reshoot some parts of the storyline involving Lucas Johnson."

The news comes shortly after TV bosses in charge of another British soap opera, Coronation Street, cancelled the broadcast of an episode featuring an armed siege after a gunman went on the rampage in North-West England on Wednesday killing 12 people and injuring another 25 before turning the gun on himself.
