PBS Masterpiece and ITV have announced that the beloved British period crime drama, Grantchester, will officially come to an end after 11 seasons. Grantchester season 10 is currently airing new episodes weekly on PBS Masterpiece in the US (UK viewers will have to wait a little longer to see the latest season). The show's renewal announcement was undoubtedly bittersweet.

Grantchester has been a British period drama mainstay since 2014, as viewers follow Di Geordie Keating (Robson Green) and the parish of Grantchester's revolving door of modern, handsome, and troubled vicars, all of whom become interested in helping the good detective solve Cambridgeshire county's most harrowing murders.

After taking over for vicar William Davenport (Tom Brittney) last season, it's Alphy Kottaram's (Rishi Nair) time to shine in Grantchester Season 10. Masterpiece on PBS released the official trailer for the latest series in the long-running British detective show, and it sees the new reverend settling into the titular town alongside his new partner, friend, and intellectual equal, Di Geordie Keating (Robson Green). However, life doesn't stay peaceful for long as the pair are quickly sucked into a gruesome and haunting new case while dealing with drama in their personal lives. For Alphy, his search for love, belonging, and self-acceptance begins when the series returns on June 15.

The footage opens on a happy Grantchester as Alphy leads the Cambridgeshire village's inaugural Easter family service. Alas, his sermon and the festivities are interrupted by the sound of a gunshot and a body left just beyond the grounds of the town's fair.

Kandi Burruss has joined the second season of Hulu’s legal drama “Reasonable Doubt,” starring alongside series regulars Emayatzy Corinealdi, Morris Chestnut, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey, Aderinsola Olabode and Thaddeus J. Mixson.

Burruss will take on the role of Eboni Phillips, a party girl in her youth who has since cleaned herself up.

According to an official logline, the new season follows Jax Stewart, who “after trying to heal from her wounds from last season’s arduous trial and deadly affair, is attempting to get her life back on track. That is until one of her closest friends reveals that she has killed her husband.”
