Toma Hrisztov

Toma Hrisztov was born in Budapest, Hungary, to a Hungarian mother and Bulgarian father who are both medical doctors.
Toma has fallen in love with acting early in his life, when he started attending a drama school during his primary school years. He was also an active member of the Drama Club of his own High School, where in 2012 and 2013 two of his plays won the Best Performance award at the Competitions of Student Stages.
From 2016-2017 he studied acting in the Hungarian Academy of Drama and got admitted to the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Budapest in 2017. He spent a semester abroad with an Erasmus scholarship in Paris, at the University of Nanterre, majoring in Performing Art in 2019. He obtained his MA diploma in acting from the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Budapest in 2022, graduating with honors.
Already during his studies Toma played in several theaters and appeared in feature films, TV shows, series, short films and commercials. He appeared in international series in English, and during his studies in Paris he played in French. He had a supporting role in the award-winning film Wild Roots (2021), played Young Rolan Antonov in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2022), appeared in The Fear Index (2022) and he was one of the main characters, Geri Deák in We started together (2022).
Toma has a musical background of 7 years of playing the violin. He speaks Hungarian, English and French.
