Notably, the entire Insidious franchise has now amassed over $735M in worldwide earnings, a testament to its enduring popularity. Per Deadline, the film pulled in $2.5M from 59 overseas markets during the last weekend, bringing its international total to an impressive $101.8M, while its global collection now stands at $182.5M, ahead of M3GAN's $180.5M, as well as that of Scream VI ($169M), Evil Dead: Rise ($146.7M) and The Pope's Exorcist ($76M).

Bishara disregards horror film score conventions by employing gut-wrenching string dissonance, haunting electronics, and sudden crescendos. As someone who has been a longtime fan of James Wan’s genre output, I was extremely excited when it was announced that he was going to be giving us another original horror movie to enjoy via Malignant. And the best compliment I can give Malignant is that I went into this movie thinking it was going to be one thing, and for a good portion of the film, it very much lulls you into thinking your expectations are spot-on. But by the time the second half kicks in, Wan delivers an experience that is so shockingly weird and jaw-droppingly unexpected, that I spent most of my time with my mouth agape and cackling at a variety of moments with unfettered glee.

The latest horror film from James Wan is hitting theaters and HBO Max on September 10th and we have a look at the brand new trailer!

“Malignant” is the latest creation from “Conjuring” universe architect James Wan. The film marks director Wan’s return to his roots with this new original horror thriller.

In the film, Madison is paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities.

“Malignant” stars Annabelle Wallis, Maddie Hasson, George Young (TV’s “Containment”), Michole Briana White, Jacqueline McKenzie, Jake Abel and Ingrid Bisu.

Wan directed from a screenplay by Akela Cooper, story by Wan & Ingrid Bisu and Cooper. The film was produced by Wan and Michael Clear, with Eric McLeod, Judson Scott, Bisu, Peter Luo, Cheng Yang, Mandy Yu and Lei Han serving as executive producers.

Warner Bros. has released a brand new trailer for Malignant. This is an original horror movie from James Wan, who has asserted himself as something of a modern horror master. Wan is the co-creator of Saw and Insidious and, perhaps most importantly, the main man behind The Conjuring universe. This represents his return to the horror genre following Aquaman, and it looks to be everything we've come to expect from the filmmaker over the years.

The trailer wastes no time. We see a woman having terrifying visions, leaving her to wake up in a panicked sweat. But as blood begins spilling in the real world, it becomes clear these visions are far more than just nightmares. Things escalate further when we learn of her old, supposedly imaginary friend Gabriel. Turns out he may not have been so imaginary after all. It promises lots of scares and a seemingly high body count.

The Conjuring-verse, as pretty clear by its title, has always invited slightly more reverence for The Conjuring films. In spite of the franchise having some excellent spin-off outings in Annabelle: Creation and Annabelle Comes Home, James Wan’s acclaimed The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, have always been the more respected backbone of this horror universe. So, with that fact comes a degree more hype for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. This is a mixed blessing. Indeed, had this have been a spin-off story in this series, I would wager it may have received warmer reviews than it has, yet, despite some seemingly nonplus reactions, I felt this third film fit right in with the other two.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is the seventh film in the “Conjuring” Universe, the largest horror franchise in history, which has grossed more than $1.8 billion worldwide. While it was previously slated to come out this September, the theatrical release of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It has unsurprisingly been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to Exhibitor Relations, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is now scheduled to come out from Warner Bros. on June 4th, 2021, pushing it back nearly nine months from its previous September 11th, 2020 release date.

Directed by Michael Chaves (The Curse of la Llorona), the latest installment of The Conjuring franchise will feature the return of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Dreamkatcher is a horror film from the state of New York. Developed by director Kerry Harris and writer Dan V. Shea, this feature stars Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill) as a Manhattan therapist. She travels upstate, when her adopted son begins experiencing nightmares. Then, a strange neighbour appears in the woods, adding to the boy's terror. Dreamkatcher also stars: Lin Shaye (Insidious), Jules Wilcox (Under the Silver Lake) and Joseph Bishara. To show at the European Film Market later this month, a new movie poster and stills are available for this thriller. Some of the stills, from Film Mode Entertainment, show the film's villain. Looking like a night hag, this creature of the night stalks Josh as he sleeps, tempting him to act violently (shown below). In the past, there was a mythical creature called the night hag, which was thought to create sleep paralysis. This myth looks to be taken to an extreme in Dreamkatcher.

While it was previously known that Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga would return to the big screen as Ed and Lorraine Warren in a new Conjuring movie directed by Michael Chaves, the title of the third Conjuring film has now been revealed, along with official plot details.

The film, currently shooting, follows a Manhattan therapist (Mitchell) who travels upstate with her boyfriend (Thomas) and his orphaned son who is tormented by nightmares of his dead mother. When the husband is forced to return to the city, the therapist remains with the boy and they encounter a mysterious neighbor (Shaye) in the woods.

Finlay Wojtak-Hissong (The Banana Split Movie) plays the son. Jules Willcox (Under The Silver Lake) and Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring) round out the supporting roles.
