Biography

Ilya Tsymbal is a Soviet-born American television and theater actor. He immigrated to the United States in 1990 at the age of 16. He started acting at a local community theater in his adopted hometown of Arlington, MA.

He is known for his exotic blue eyes and quick wit, as well as his martial arts prowess.

He graduated from South Shore High School in Brooklyn, NY, before moving on to Harvard to study computer science. After graduating, he has had a long 25-plus year career as a widely respected software engineer. He has helped numerous startups as well as Fortune 500 companies. Tsymbal has been a keynote speaker in several computer trade conferences. He has testified before the House Ways and Means Committee on the subjects of computer security and privacy.

Aside from being a household name as an actor, in his young adulthood, he has been named one of Boston's Most Eligible Bachelors and named to Boston's Magazine's Thirty under 30 and Forty under 40 lists.
