Cedrick Cooper grew up in Long Island New York for the first part of his life before moving to lithonia Georgia with his mom and sister. His first introduction to the drama world was in 8th grade, here is where he felt most comfortable expressing the inner parts of himself. That love of expression grew when he attended the University of South Carolina on a Division one scholarship for Football while simultaneously minoring in the arts. While playing in front of 60,000 fans during the season, he also was sharpening his passion for acting. Because of his focus and commitment, he was introduced to the stage where he was able to lead one of the schools productions "Still Life" by Emily Mann. Since his 2015 graduation his development as an actor came from life and intentional studies in the Atlanta acting community. His most notable roles has come from the Fox Series "Will Trent" as Officer worth and Michael from the recent romantic comedy "The Comeback" lead by Taye Diggs. If he isn't working professionally he is training, a lot of Cedrick's time is spent working on the craft at a local Atlanta Acting Studio "Acts of Freedom". Cedrick prides himself of collaborating with an array of artists in order for the story to be told in its truest form and in Netflix's "Boots" premiering Oct 9th you'll see just that.
