Biography

Rayana D. Briggs is a trained actress, vocalist, and dancer. Her primary expertise is in theatre (musicals, plays, cabarets), but she now works for TV/film. She had her start on Our Kind of People as a re-occurring background, but received her SAG eligibility by being a featured cast member. She went on to work on other productions like such as Ruthless, BMF, The Supremes at Earls All You Can Eat, and Zoey 102. Her experience led her to be a stand-in for The Color Purple. She's also performed at Dollywood in the #2 Best Theme Park Entertainment in the US, Dreamland Drive-In. She's a proud company member of Techmoja Dance and Theatre Company and student at Actor's Arsenal. She is currently in post-production for her first lead role in a feature film for BET+, "Deadly Intentions."
