One Brutal Suits Theory Suggests Harvey’s Loyalty Was Rooted in Guilt, Not Genius
Image
Beneath the hard-hitting courtroom drama, legal jargon, and betrayals, Suits is remembered for the iconic duo of Harvey Specter and Mike Ross. Aside from being power-hungry corporate lawyers, the two are best friends, like Batman and Robin, saving each other from harm’s way. This made many non-viewers watch the show, as they were impressed by their friendly banter and how they could win any case if they started work on it together.

But it often occurs to us that Harvey hired Ross not because he was another version of him. Instead, his cold, calculated personality was taken over by his gentle and grieving side, where he saw Mike Ross simply as his younger brother, whom he had abandoned.

Harvey Specter’s Guilt Led to Mike Ross’ Lawyer Life

There’s no denying that Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) is a brilliant individual who has a photographic memory and an...

Cole’s Tragic Death Was the Absolute Best Thing for Victoria on Young and the Restless
Image
Happily ever after rarely plays out well on soaps. Once a couple unites and settles into domestic bliss, they face the dreaded doldrums. Their days of fun, front-burner action slowly disappear. That’s why Cole’s tragic death was the absolute best thing for Victoria on The Young and the Restless.

Vibrant Victoria

Pre-Cole (J. Eddie Peck), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was vibrant, spirited, and spunky. She was a shark in the boardroom, and a sexpot in the bedroom. Remember her sizzling affair with Nate (Sean Dominic)? Her cutthroat tactics to pull off a corporate coup?

Victoria was a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with in every area of her life; the daughter who made the great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) proud.

Read This: We can’t stop watching these Y&r pets.

Suddenly, Dullsville

But after getting back together with Cole (J. Eddie Peck), all of the above fell by the wayside.

Drew Cain’s Dark Turn: How General Hospital Changed His Personality
Image
Cameron Mathison’s version of Drew on General Hospital was introduced on the August 16, 2021 episode. He was revealed to have been held captive and brainwashed by Victor Cassadine.

Back Home

Once back in Port Charles, Drew reconnected with his daughter Scout (Cosette Abinante) and other family members. However, he dealt with guilt over Jason’s (Steve Burton) presumed death (he was the one rescued), survivor’s remorse, and struggling to bond with Scout, who hardly remembered him.

Drew and Carly (Laura Wright) began getting closer throughout 2022 — they shared kisses at the Quartermaine picnic and at Jacksonville Beach, eventually embarking on a romantic relationship. Tensions arose due to their insider-trading legal issues. Drew and Carly were caught in an insider trading scandal, which he took full responsibility for to protect Carly. Initially expecting a light sentence, Drew was instead sentenced to three years at Pentonville Penitentiary in mid-2023. He endured threats and violence inside prison,...

Days of our Lives Spoilers May 9: Ej Plots to Protect Johnny
Image
Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, May 9, end with a cliffhanger of Ej convinced that his own son shot him. And vowing to make sure that Johnny is never punished for his crime. Just like Ej is never punished for his.

Next on Days of our Lives

Ej (Dan Feuerriegel) is starting to remember what happened the night he was shot. And his memories are starting to point more and more towards Johnny (Carson Boatman). Ej understands why his boy would want to shoot him. He even respects it. Heck, they’re Dimeras. They probably get a merit badge for patricide, or something.

But Dimeras also don’t like to be put behind bars for their evil deeds. (It’s why Chanel [Raven Bowens] fits in so well with her new family.) Ej may be the victim, but he is also going to be the one to make sure...

General Hospital Needs to Get Rid of Drew Immediately
Image
General Hospital has tried hard to push Drew Cain/Quartermaine down our throats since Cameron Mathison stepped into the role.

The late Billy Miller originated it, making the character a double-edged sword.

Cameron stepped into the role and attempted to make it his own, but the writing over the last several months has made the character so unlikable, even for the viewers who are fans of the actor.

(ABC/Screenshot)

This “new” Drew isn’t a character General Hospital needs, and he could easily disappear. His exit would free up money to tap into another character or possibly bring someone else back into the fold.

Drew Sleeping With Willow Is Too Much

General Hospital viewers knew Cameron Mathison’s Drew wouldn’t be Billy Miller’s. After all, no one can compare Billy’s effort in developing his character and giving him dimension.

NBC’s Suits LA Honors and Remembers the Late Billy Miller
Image
Before Billy Miller passed away in 2023, he created magic on daytime shows like All My Children, The Young and the Restless, and General Hospital. On primetime and in the streaming universe, he starred on the original version of Suits and in shows like Truth Be Told, Ray Donovan, and Justified. The actor made a lasting impression with fans and costars, and NBC’s Suits spinoff, Suits LA, recently paid tribute to the Daytime Emmy-winning star.

In Memory Of

Due to the overwhelming popularity of Suits after the late great USA Network show hit Netflix, NBC ordered a spinoff that now stars Stephen Amell of Arrow and Heels fame.

However, during this first season, creator Aaron Korsh, who also created the Og show, brought back its biggest heavy hitter, Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter. He plopped the ferocious attorney into this brand-new world of Suits LA in a recurring capacity.

How Did ‘Suits LA’ Handle Billy Miller’s Passing? Spinoff Reveals His Character’s Fate
Image
Suits LA addressed the fate of Harvey Specter’s (Gabriel Macht) brother, Marcus Specter (Billy Miller), during the Sunday, April 20, episode. The episode featured Harvey’s return and he opened up to Ted Black (Stephen Amell) about his brother. Harvey said that Marcus died “a few years back” from cancer. It was a vulnerable moment for the former leading man of Suits, who wanted advice from Ted since he also lost his brother. The episode also featured a tribute to Miller, who died in 2023, before the credits rolled. Although Miller only appeared in a handful of Suits episodes during the show’s original run (he made his first appearance in Season 4), his troubled character struck a chord with viewers. Miller, who was also known for his roles on soap operas including General Hospital, All My Children, and The Young and the Restless, died ahead of his 44th birthday in 2023. Nicole Weingart...

Suits LA’s Harvey and Donna Updates Make Me Yearn For a Gabriel Macht-Sarah Rafferty Spinoff
Image
When Suits LA premiered on NBC earlier this year, there were many questions about why no franchise alums were involved from the get-go.

But thanks to fans’ calls, Gabriel Macht has appeared in several episodes, bringing the iconic lawyer Harvey Specter to Los Angeles.

Suits LA Season 1 Episode 9 delved further into Harvey’s life than ever before, offering some interesting updates about where things went for him after Suits Season 9.

(Pana Pantazidis/USA Network)

My favorite aspect of Harvey being on Suits LA is that he’s the same Harvey we know and love, complete with his signature wit.

He’s helped show shades of Ted that I didn’t think were possible. Ted hasn’t been given the best material as the show’s lead, and there are concerns about how viable the show is as a spinoff.

Suits LA Reveals Harvey and Donna Have a [Spoiler] — Plus, a Sad Update About Marcus Specter

Unfortunately, this Sunday’s Suits LA did not include an appearance from Donna, even after Ted gave the redhead a shout-out while he and Harvey teamed to put mobster Pellegrini back behind bars — but “Darvey” ‘shippers did get a major update about the couple.

General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison admits soap hate began with Ryan Lavery
Cameron Mathison
Cameron Mathison has been a staple on ABC soaps for decades.

He was Ryan Lavery on All My Children and plays Drew Cain on General Hospital.

It’s no secret that he’s currently experiencing plenty of hate from soap viewers who can’t believe the person Drew has turned into.

The Drew that Billy Miller played was beloved, and this version isn’t someone General Hospital viewers recognize.

However, the distaste isn’t new for the actor. He experienced it before when he held the role of Ryan in Pine Valley.

General Hospital’s Daniel Goddard Is ‘Blown Away’

Here’s Hoping That Tamara Braun Brings Kim Nero Back To General Hospital
Image
Former General Hospital actress Tamara Braun has played Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives on and off since 2008. It’s off again as the actress announced on April 1st that she has left the show. Could Kim Nero be on her way back to Port Charles?

The Past

Tamara has also been on and off Gh for several years. Longtime viewers will remember her as the second Carly. She took over the role in 2002 when Sarah Joy Brown left the show and made it her own, but left in 2005.

Tamara returned to Port Charles in 2017 as a completely different character. This time, she was Dr. Kim Nero, the mom of Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) boyfriend Oscar (Garren Stitt). It was later revealed that Oscar’s dad was Drew Cain, then played by the late Billy Miller. Drew was the long-lost, unknown twin of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Oscar’s...

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Tamara Braun Returning? Days’ Loss Is Gh’s Gain- Paging Dr. Kim Nero
Image
‘General Hospital’ (Gh) spoilers suggest that since Tamara Braun was let go from the Peacock sudser, Days of Our Lives, Braun is free to return to General Hospital as Dr. Kim Nero.

General Hospital Spoilers: Kim Was Devastated By Losing Oscar

Days’ loss could easily be General Hospital’s gain. Longtime General Hospital fans know that Braun played Carly Corinthos from 2001 to 2005. She was the second Carly, following Sarah Joy Brown, who originated the role.

Braun returned to Gh as an entirely different character, Kim Nero, whom she played from 2017 to 2019. Since Laura Wright arguably plays the most popular version of Carly, who now goes by Carly Spencer, Braun would be a welcome addition as Kim.

Kim’s return could really shake things up as she was once romantically involved with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and they shared a son, Oscar Nero-Quartermaine (Garren Stitt), who sadly passed away from cancer in April 2019.

Image
‘General Hospital’ (Gh) spoilers suggest that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) keeps looking at Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) medical file, and we have to wonder if the co-chief of staff at General Hospital has an ace up her sleeve when it comes to Drew’s blackmail.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Whatever Portia Is Planning Could Backfire

It appears that Portia is planning to use Drew’s private medical information to her advantage. But how?

Portia has been playing along as Drew has been blackmailing her for changing the results to Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) to show higher levels of Cobalt than was actually present to prevent her from being released from prison.

Drew finds out about what Portia did from Selina Wu (Lydia Look), and she gives him the proof that he needs to threaten Portia’s career and freedom.

As long as Portia cooperates with Drew, she’ll presumably be okay.

'General Hospital' Star Leslie Charleson Dies at Age 79
Image
The General Hospital family and its fans have suffered another major loss. Leslie Charleson, who portrayed Dr. Monica Quartermaine for nearly 50 years on the long-running soap, has passed away at the age of 79. The news was confirmed by the soap's executive producer, Frank Valentini.

Valentini took to X to post the news of Charleson's passing. A cause of death has not been revealed, but Valentini's post instead focused on her character of Monica Quartermaine, whom he called "the heart of the Quartermaine family." He also expressed that, "Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew." Charleson's health had kept her from appearing on General Hospital in recent years; she last appeared on the daytime soap in December 2023. The actress was said to have experienced a series of falls that affected her mobility, and she reportedly had to be hospitalized for one of them just a week before her passing.

Drew Quartermaine’s Downward Spiral: Can He Be Saved on ‘Gh’?
Cameron Mathison
General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question of the dastardly dilemma of redeeming Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). Can this character still be saved, or has the rewrite of Drew simply gone too far?

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain Had Such A Great Start Played By Billy Miller

Drew (Cameron Mathison) originally came to Port Charles as Jason Morgan (now Steve Burton) with a new body and face-or at least he was thought to be Jason. He started bringing up some of Jason’s memories, but it turned out it was due to memory swap experimentation.

It was later revealed that he wasn’t Jason, he was his long-lost twin Drew Cain, who no one had known existed-except Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) once he realized who he was.

That Drew was likable, even lovable, and we felt for him when Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) chose Jason over him when the truth was revealed.

Gh Spoilers: Like Father, Like Son-Is A Brain Tumor Causing Drew’s Bizarre Behavior?
Cameron Mathison
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) bizarre behavior could be caused by a physical condition. Is it a case of like father like son, like one time father brother and Drew has a brain tumor?

General Hospital Spoilers – Oscar Nero Died Of A Brain Tumor, Franco Baldwin Had Two

Viewers will remember the old Drew-aside from Billy Miller playing him previously, the character was totally different.

Drew’s son, who came up in Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) conversation and was her first serious boyfriend was around sixteen when he died-that was Oscar Nero (Garren Lake Stitt).

Drew’s foster brother when he was a toddler, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) also had a brain tumor, and it returned-Oscar’s behavior wasn’t influenced but Franco’s certainly was influenced!

It all depends on what part of the brain a tumor is, and sometimes brain aneurysms can...

Can Drew Be Redeemed On General Hospital?
Image
The Drew Quartermaine character has become quite unlikeable on General Hospital. Can he be redeemed or is it too late?

Great Start

Drew (Cameron Mathison) originally came to Port Charles as Jason (now Steve Burton) with a new face. It was later revealed that he wasn’t Jason, he was his long-lost twin Drew Caine, played by Billy Miller.

That Drew was likable, even lovable. We felt for him when Sam (Kelly Monaco) chose Jason. He was a caring dad to his son Oscar (Garren Stitt) and was even forgiving and kind to Franco (Roger Howarth). He also made a best friend in Curtis (Donnell Turner).

Drew was presumed dead in a plane crash but reemerged years later. He made it back to Port Charles and was a celebrated hero. He fell in love with Carly (Laura Wright) and even took the fall for her insider trading and went to prison.

One Life to Live (1968)
5 General Hospital characters we don’t need
One Life to Live (1968)
General Hospital could easily cut some of the cast.

The ABC soap is known for keeping an overly bloated cast, especially if the cast members came from another soap like One Life to Live or were hand-picked by executive producer Frank Valentini.

Over the last few months, there has been uproar about General Hospital’s choice to fire Kelly Monaco (Sam), one of the most popular actresses on the show. They killed her off in the most despicable way, recently revealing she died at the hands of Cyrus (Jeff Kober).

A few weeks ago, Chad Duell revealed he was exiting the ABC soap as Michael, and Frank confirmed they would not be recasting the role. While that is one less character to bloat the cast, being involved in one of the bigger storylines and just vanishing without a recast makes no sense.

Last week, Evan Hofer exited the show with Dex killed off by Cyrus.

Gh Spoilers: Full Stop — The Gh Fanbase Asserts Drew Is A Predator And This Storyline With Willow Needs To Stop
Cameron Mathison
General Hospital (Gh) spoilers reveal not everyone is thrilled with the romantic relationship forming between Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). To be fair, not everyone considers it romantic either.

Some are saying it borders on making Drew look like a predator. Others have made statements that they’re happy Billy Miller isn’t playing this role anymore, and that it’s tarnishing the way they look at Mathison.

At the same time, some are calling Willow’s character into question — not merely because she’s cheating on her husband, but because this behavior is a far cry from the person she’s been described as ever since she first showed up in Port Charles. What are the odds of a victim of a cult who was so reserved and meek ending up this way?

General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna breaks silence on Kelly Monaco exit
Kelly Monaco
It’s been three years since General Hospital paired Kelly Monaco’s Sam with Dominic Zamprogna’s Dante.

The couple seemingly came out of nowhere after Kelly had been paired with leads Steve Burton and Billy Miller.

However, as Sante got things going and built a life together, viewers didn’t hate the pairing.

Sam was doing a noble thing by donating part of her liver to Dante’s ex-wife, Lulu (Alexa Havins); it ended in death for her. She wanted to give Rocco his mother back and ensure his best possible life.

Kelly was fired, leading to this exit storyline. Many of the emotions her scene partners displayed upon Sam’s death were genuine emotions of the actors who will miss her.

Dominic Zamprogna spoke about working with Kelly and the friendship they developed over the last few years when they worked so closely together.

General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn speaks out as Sam dies, ‘the love is real’

General Hospital fired Kelly Monaco weeks ago, but her final scenes have played out over the last few days.

There’s been heavy debate about the send-off the ABC soap chose for the two decades Kelly dedicated to the character of Sam McCall.

Many viewers felt she deserved more than a storyline used to prop up Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) return.

Despite news of Kelly’s firing circulating social media for weeks, none of the cast members spoke out about her or working with her.

However, that changed once the scenes between Kelly and her on-screen mom, Nancy Lee Grahn, aired.

The scenes between Alexis and a dead Sam were heartbreaking.

‘General Hospital’: How The ABC Sudser Said Goodbye To Kelly Monaco
Image
Spoiler Alert! This story contains details from the Nov. 1 episode of General Hospital.

Friday’s episode of General Hospital marked the last time fans will see Kelly Monaco, whose surprise departure was revealed in August after she appeared in more than 2,200 episodes as Sam McCall.

The way that Gh would say goodbye to Sam wasn’t clear until recently, when her decision to donate her liver to Lulu Spencer would prove fatal. On Oct. 30, it is learned that doctors successfully removed her organ but not without Sam losing her life in the process.

On Friday’s episode, Sam’s mom Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) broke it to Sam’s longtime love Dante (Dom Zamprogna) that Monaco’s character had a heart attack after surgery. Other characters learned Sam’s fate on Friday, as well, including Carly (Laura Wright), Sonny (Maurice Benard), Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Laura (Genie Francis) — who initially...

General Hospital viewers want to ‘fire Frank’ after Kelly Monaco’s firing
Image
The time has come for Kelly Monaco’s character, Sam McCall, to be killed off General Hospital.

Viewers have been upset since the news broke months ago, and in the weeks following the announcement, more details have come to light.

Kelly hinted the situation was “retaliation” but didn’t elaborate further. However, she confirmed that a statement would be coming.

There have been rumors that Frank Valentini (the executive producer of General Hospital) took issue with what Kelly said following the firing of Billy Miller from the ABC soap. The two were close friends, so her opinion wasn’t shocking.

Several long-time viewers have spoken about Kelly’s firing, offering support and suggesting the soap fix the decision and bring her back. After all, anything can happen in the soap world.

But beyond that, many are calling for Frank to be fired.

Kelly Monaco sends message to General Hospital fans in ‘not scripted’ gesture
Image
As Kelly Monaco’s final scenes as Sam McCall on General Hospital begin airing, viewers are tuned in to catch the final glimpses of one of their favorites.

Kelly has played Sam since 2003, when the character debuted in Port Charles. She has been mixed up with some strong male leads, including Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton).

However, her chemistry with Billy Miller as NuJason and Drew drew even more viewers into her world. Kelly and Billy were part of one of the better eras of General Hospital.

During a recent episode of the hit ABC soap, Sam was being wheeled into surgery to help save Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) life.
