    • Living in Honolulu, Hawaii, Luc ANNEST was born in 1966 and graduated from Sorbonne St-Charles where he obtained a bachelor's degree in lm making studies. Shortly after finishing school he made his first short film, "Three Nights", based on Philippe Djian's novel starring Gerard DARMON and Clovis CORNILLAC. In 1996, he signed an exclusive contract with MHP a Canadian production company. His initial work was frequently international commercial shoots. During this time he also finished writing his novel and its adaptation "THE BRIDGE", a drama. In returning to France, his commercial work continued and he began to write the Thriller/Scy-Fi "THE BRIGHTEST MIND", followed by the Italian comedy "SPAGHETTI AL DIAVOLO" and the urban comedy "NOLA CIRCUS". For the latter project, Luc directed the film's teaser, "THE AFRO". In 2009 he founded SevenDogs, a commercial production company, and in 2011, Luc founded an American Films Production firm "The Illicit producers". His first film, NOLA CIRCUS, was shot in English in New-Orleans, Louisiana. Independent financing was realized by a pool of NBA and soccer athletes. It was released in theatrical both France and USA 2017. A worldwide digital release followed shortly after. NETFLIX bought it in June 2017. In 2016 Luc Produced "Easy Life" in Hawaii a short by Boris Diaw starring CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER. In 2018 Luc obtained the rights for Philippe Djian's novel "ZONE EROGENE", known in the USA as the author of "ELLE" by Paul Verhoven, with Isabelle Hupert, GOLDEN GLOBES 2017. The film based on that novel is produced by the US producer Scott Einbinder (The hitman's bodyguard) In 2018 he signed with Solar Entertainment and Miroir magique, "LES MARIOLES", a French comedy set in the Southern French city of Marseille, known for its tough streets and multiethnic urban culture, slated to be filmed in 2019. In 2018, Luc also obtained his US VISA and moved to the US, living between Honolulu and Los Angeles. Last December, he directed the shooting of a teaser of the Thriller "CACTUS FLAT" in The California desert. In 2019, he signed with Picseyes a new screenplay entitled "THE CHAPEL"
