Biography

Catriona Leger has been working as a theatre actor and director since the mid 1990's. On stage she has received acclaim for portraying roles such as Cleopatra (Antony and Cleopatra), Titania (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Ophelia (Hamlet), and Teen Angel (Grease), as well as for directing such productions as Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Comedy of Errors, and Venus in Fur. She also served as Artistic Director of the Shakespeare company a Company of Fools in Ottawa, ON for many years. Catriona is a graduate of Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris, France, holds a BFA in Acting and MFA in Directing (UBC), and is a recipient of the JBC Watkins Award for Theatre from the Canada Council for the Arts.
