Gautier Brésard Interview: Blood Bowl 3
Image
Blood Bowl 3 is the third entry in the sporty Warhammer spin-off. Originally inspired by the board game of the same name, Blood Bowl takes Warhammer's tactics to the field in a light-hearted, fantasy take on the sport. Blood Bowl 3 comes from Cyanide Studios, which have been behind a wide range of other titles, from Call of Cthulhu to Pro Cycling Manager 2022.

A faithful adaptation of the source material, Blood Bowl 3's gameplay revolves around grid-based games and determinant dice rolls. The fantasy take on American football combines the goal of scoring touchdowns with combat, encouraging players to try to injure or kill opponents during a game. Blood Bowl aims to be the most faithful adaptation of the Warhammer board game yet, adding new layers of strategy through additional rules while still keeping things accessible to new players.

New Trailer for Post-Apocalyptic Horror 'Hostile' from Mathieu Turi
"Every mistake you make, you make it for a reason." 4Digital Media has released a new trailer for a post-apocalyptic survival horror film titled Hostile, from French filmmaker Mathieu Turi making his directorial debut. We posted a slick teaser trailer for this last fall, and finally have another new trailer to promote its upcoming Us release in September this year. Not to be confused with the Christian Bale western Hostiles, this film is about a woman, played by Brittany Ashworth, who is a survivor of an apocalypse and ends up crashing her truck while driving around. She wakes up at night, and must battle strange creatures that roam the wastelands in the dark. The cast includes Grégory Fitoussi, Javier Botet, Jay Benedict, and David Gasman. This still reminds me a bit of I Am Legend, but this trailer makes it seem somewhat more unique. Here's the new official trailer (+ poster) for Mathieu Turi's Hostile,...

First Trailer for Mathieu Turi's Post-Apocalyptic Creature Film 'Hostile'
"My name is Juliette, and I survived the apocalypse. You think I'm lucky? You're wrong." A trailer has debuted for an intriguing post-apocalyptic creature feature titled Hostile, the feature directorial debut of French filmmaker Mathieu Turi. Not to be confused with the Christian Bale western Hostiles, this one is about a woman who is the lone survivor of an apocalypse and ends up crashing her truck driving around. She wakes up at night, and must battle strange creatures that roam the wastelands in the dark. The cast includes Grégory Fitoussi, Javier Botet , Jay Benedict, and David Gasman. This kind of looks like I Am Legend if it was set in a dusty wasteland instead of the city. This actually looks pretty good. Check it out. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Mathieu Turi's Hostile, direct from YouTube: Juliette (Brittany Ashworth), a lone survivor of an apocalyptic era, fights to survive against hunger,...

Mathieu Turi's post-apocalyptic yarn Hostile continues a film festival run. The film is slated for appearances in New York and Los Angeles, via the New York City Horror Film Festival and the Shriekfest Horror Film Festival. A trailer has just been released for the film. Thriller fans can find the first trailer here. Story details mostly remain in mystery. However, the synopsis mentions an "apocalyptic era" and " [Juliet's] fight to survive." The trailer shows more of Juliet's struggles as she searches for gas and supplies. Events come to a head in the desert, with Juliet facing off against a monster. A few reviews are starting to come in for Hostile. Joseph Perry, of Scream Horror Mag, says of the...
