- Ravi Ranjan was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, into a Marathi working-class family. He holds a graduate degree in Psychology from Gujarat University and a postgraduate degree in Development communication. He is known for his work in Gujarati and Hindi theatre, films, voice-over, and dubbing. His interest in acting began during his school days. At the age of 17, he joined theatre and has performed in over 1500 street plays.
He was also known as "Bicycle Boy" for running a free library on his bicycle.He used to donate whatever items he received through the Bicycle Library to charity.
Ravi has acted in Gujarati films like Raado, Hun Iqbal, Danny Jigar, Samandar, Fakta Purushon Maate and the Hindi film Kakuda.
