The Originals' Joseph Morgan Talks Directing His First Episode, How He 'Couldn't Have Done It' Without Wife Persia White
Daniel Gillies, Joseph Morgan, Charles Michael Davis, and Claire Holt in The Originals (2013)
Joseph Morgan gets by with a lot of help from his wife, Persia White. This week's episode of The Originals marks Morgan's television directorial debut. He's directed a few short films on the past, but never something on this scale, and he was surprised by how "huge" the episode ended up being in terms of sequences, stunts, and visual effects. Thankfully, his wife was by his side to support him through it all. "My wife was just incredible during the whole process. She was just so utterly supportive," Morgan, 34, tells People. "I couldn't have done it without her." During the eight days of filming,...

The Vampire Diaries’ Killer Controversy: Is It Time to Stick a Stake in Elena?
Since it first debuted 4 years ago, The Vampire Diaries has never been shy about killing off characters. In fact, they have taken such a no-holds-barred approach to it that major character deaths are now expected. Most recently, the loss of Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen) added to the long list of deaths of characters fans were attached to; before that, there had been the death’s Alaric (Matt Davis), Jenna (Sara Canning), John (David Anders), Isobel (Mia Kirshner), Anna (Malese Jow), Lexi (Arielle Kebbel)– and to a lesser degree Grams, Vicki (Kayla Ewell), Mason (Taylor Kinney), Rose (Lauren Cohan), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), Finn (Casper Zafer), Esther (Alice Evans), Carol Lockwood (Susan Walters), and Bill Forbes (Jack Coleman).

What I propose here is that The Vampire Diaries that has never been hesitant to kill before should take the ultimate risk and kill off its lead, Elena Gilbert. Now let’s be clear,...

Episode Recap: The Vampire Diaries - 3.14: "Dangerous Liaisons"
Elena (Nina Dobrev) is watched by someone at the hospital as she talks about the attacks with Matt (Zach Roerig). He's lucky the only thing he needs to worry about is work, but that won't last long. Outside Elena backs onto something and when she gets out of the car she's confronted by Rebekah (Claire Holt) who's out for revenge for getting staked by her. Elijah (Daniel Gillies) saves her from being bitten and he asks Rebekah if she's challenging him. So was Elijah watching out for Elena or was he the one who was watching from the hospital? Damon (Ian Somerhalder) wonders how Ester (Alice Evans) is even alive. Elijah wants them all to live in peace, yeah that'll happen. Stefan (Paul Wesley) says they need a weapon to help them win over Klaus (Joseph Morgan). Damon: "Anyone else feeling a little used right now?" No, but he will...

'Vampire Diaries' Villain Talks Klaus' Cruel Intentions
Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, and Nina Dobrev in The Vampire Diaries (2009)
Fans of "The Vampire Diaries" will be happy to know that everyone's favorite vampire/werewolf hybrid makes his devilish return on Thursday's (March 29) all-new episode. However, upon his return to Mystic Falls, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will have to deal with one major problem: Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) are raising the stakes after finding a way to kill the Originals.

But you don't live to be 1,000 years old and not learn a thing or two about self-defense. "Up until recently, as far as [Klaus] knew, he was indestructible," Morgan told HuffPost TV. "And now, suddenly, there's a bag with 12 weapons all capable of killing him. You better believe that he's going to do everything in his power to get ahold of that and destroy it as quickly as possible."

HuffPost TV chatted with Morgan about Klaus' plan to reunite his family, his brotherly -- yet dangerous -- relationship with...

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Recap: An Old Handsome Friend Returns
Plus, Alaric goes off the deep end! What do you think is really happening to him? The Gilbert-Salvatore love triangle is so last week. The March 22 episode of The Vampire Diaries introduced us to a whole new threesome in Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Sage (Cassidy Freeman). Of course, their ménage à trois was less about love -- and more about straight-up murder. Using sexy times to lower Rebekah's defenses, Sage read her mind and clued Damon in about the existence of a second White Oak Tree -- conveniently used to build the already infamous Wickery Bridge! But even though Damon promised to spare Sage's fave Original Finn (Caspar Zafer), she still decided to turn on him and tell Becky all about their little plan. Fortunately, Damon is as crafty as he is unspeakably attractive -- he spent half of this episode in a towel, and it was...

The Vampire Diaries Episode 3.18 Photos: Return of the Original Dead in ‘The Murder of One’
We have 19 new photos from The Vampire Diaries March closer, “Murder for One.”

The photos have a few Spoilers in them regarding character returns so if you haven’t already caught the spoiler, turn away.

It looks like the war between the Originals and the Mystic Falls’ vampires will be heating up by the end of March. This photo below shows Elena arming herself with a massive crossbow; its reminiscent of the scene when Tyler and Jeremy were practicing with the crossbow. It was also the beginning of the end for Jeremy’s character. After using the crossbow on a hybrid that was attacking Elena, a fearless Jeremy chopped off the hybrid’s head. Later on, Elena had Jeremy mind wiped and sent away.

We also have some interesting photos of Damon and Rebekah. Their strictly sexual relationship has turned into an S&M case as pictured below. In truth,...

'The Vampire Diaries' Originals: Is Klaus going soft? Plus, Rebekah's rise-and-shine
There are currently 20 days until "The Vampire Diaries" returns to your screens, and here at Zap2it, we're doing our best to help you make it through these cold, lonely times without your favorite monsters/witches/hunters/damsels in distress/etc.

Now, it's time to talk about Originals. When we last saw our new favorite character, Rebekah (Claire Holt), Damon had dumped her in the Salvatore basement with a dagger in her back. Don't worry, Rebekah fans -- her red homecoming dress won't be collecting dust in that dungeon for long.

If you totally love Claire in the role as much as we do, we're certainly not alone! "She has been such a delight for everybody, from the crew and the writers, to everybody at the studio and network level that pays us to do our jobs," executive producer Julie Plec tells us.

That's not the say that they're surprised by how delightful she is.

Vampire Diaries – Two Brothers for Klaus
Vampire Diaries – Two Brothers for Klaus

Since we’re spending so much time getting to know Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) family on The Vampire Diaries, we might as well get to meet the last of his brothers. Since two of them are long dead, the only ones left are locked away tight in those coffins Klaus are been keeping around. That is, until Stefan took them right from under Klaus’ nose. Now they won’t be locked up for long and the show has found two attractive men to play the parts.

TV Guide reported British actor Casper Zafer (Le Femme Muskateer) and Australian actor Nathaniel Buzolic (Out of the Blue) will play the remaining two brothers, Finn and Kol respectively. You can bet they are not pleased once they have been set free from their prisons, causing even more trouble for the cast of Vampire Diaries. They could play a...

British actor Caspar Zafer of ‘La Femme Muskateer’ fame has been offered the role of Finn, while Australian actor Nathaniel Buzzolic from ‘Out of the Blue’ is set to play Kol. Weekend Meme: "The Vampire Diaries" Finds Klaus Hot Blond Brothers, "Battleship" Isn't Seaworthy, and Gene Simmons Trashes Madonna
We've already showed you the cover of Entertainment Weekly with Daniel Radcliff as the Entertainer of the Year. But some other categories are of interest – like favorite TV actor. Chris Colfer took the prize, with Neil Patrick Harris coming in behind him. H/t Biblio.

I'll be honest, this op-ed in The Advocate from adult film star Conner Habib is brilliant. As he reflects on the Fox ambush of teacher Kevin Hogan, he asks a fair question: Why is it Ok to watch porn, but not be in porn? "For these opposers — “investigative journalists,” demonizers, and so-called “upholders of moral value” — there’s a separation between sex and pornography. Sex is meant, at best, to be natural but unmentioned. For surely, the parents of the students at Mystic Valley have had sex, as have the reporters and CEOs and affiliates of Fox News. In related news, Stefan is going to be trying to stay one step ahead of Klaus since he stole those coffins, and Caroline will get very sad over her breakup with Tyler, and more. 'The Vampire Diaries' Originals cast: Nathaniel Buzolic and Caspar Zafer play Kol and Finn (Plus: How many coffins are there?)
Big news, "Vampire Diaries" fans! The remaining Original siblings have been cast  -- and they're both guys, making Rebekah the sole sister (which explains a lot).

British actor Caspar Zafer (left) is set to play Finn, a brother described as "quiet, but with a dark side" in the casting breakdown. Kol, the final Original sibling, will be played by Nathaniel Buzolic. Buzolic, an Australian actor, is best known from Aussie soap "Out of the Blue." The casting was first reported by TV Guide.

Both brothers are going to wake up not-too-pleased with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), and understandably so, seeing as he not only staked them and stuck them in coffins, but it's now been revealed that he murdered their mother. We can expect to meet Finn in episode 313 -- no word yet on when we'll meet Kol.

To clear up a few things -- yes, those are the only two remaining siblings.
