The upcoming Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi starrer Jolly Llb which releases tomorrow had run into a spot of legal trouble a while earlier with three different petitions being filed against the film. While one of the petitions filed sought a stay on the film's release, we have learnt that the Delhi High court has since dismissed the Pil on the grounds that the petition "lacks full details" of the film.

A bench of Chief Justice D Murugesan and Justice V K Jain rejected the plea of a group of lawyers who had alleged that some dialogues and scenes in the film were defamatory. "In our opinion, the petition cannot be entertained at this stage for want of full details. The petition is solely on the basis of trailer which is being exhibited on television and websites... There are no details of the circumstances on which the dialogues had been included...

Cochin, Oct 15: V K Prakash's latest film "Poppins" has not yet released. However the film maker is already working on the next film titled "Netholi Cheriya Meenalla" – a different and funny name! And the director says not only the title, the film is also going to be hillarious. He says he generally makes crazy films, and this too is no different!

Sana Khan is currently pairing with Bharath in the film Thambikku Indha Ooru directed by Badri. This film is being produced by V K Media. Sana Khan while speaking about her cinema experience said,” I was acting in ad films in Mumbai. Simbhu called me to act in the film Kettavan.

But since that film was delayed I got the opportunity to act in the film Silambattam. I came to cinema through this film. Simbhu is my mentor in cinema. I became famous in Tamil Nadu because of him. I am donning the role of a city girl in the film Thambikku Indha Ooru. When I go for training to Singapore I meet Bharath. Romance blossoms between us. The film has come out well. It was pleasant experience acting with Bharath. He helped me a lot to do my role well…”

The Delhi High Court today issued notice to Bollywood actor Salman Khan and director Anil Sharma for allegedly lifting some concepts from a book withoutapproval of its author for their film Veer.     Justice V K Shali asked the actor, producer and director of the film to file their response on the allegation levelled by author Pavan Choudary, who has sought damages of Rs 20 lakh from them for alleged violation of his copyright and making illegal gains by lifting a portion from his book Trilogy of Wisdom.     The author also pleaded that the court should ...
