    • Joshua Milo Cox graduated from Rutgers University in 2019 with a degree in Applied Physics with highest honors and as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar. In order to achieve Highest Honors, Joshua defended his senior thesis on Ionic Liquids. The Ronald E. McNair program is a post baccalaureate program that pairs selected students up with a mentor and prepares them for doctoral studies. During the end of Joshua's Physics degree, he began taking acting classes at the Mason Gross School of Arts with Helen Farmer and Christopher Halladay. In Farmer's Class, Joshua was taught improvisation. In Halladay's class, he learned Script analysis and scene work where he discovered his love for acting and entertainment. Joshua began his acting career during his tenure at Rutgers University when he participated in the 'Campus Movie Festival(CMF)', where they give filmmakers a week to produce a short film from start to finish in one week. Joshua produced and was lead in two short films, "Lost Boy" and "The Dark Side of the Sun", which were nominated to compete nationally. He played a supporting role in "Nocturnal Feelings" by Dir. Steve Nevets. Joshua has since moved to Philadelphia, PA acted in multiple projects including "Cold Kill" by Eboni Zamani, "In the Mourning" by Jasmine Lynea, and "Brotherhood of Silver" by Rollo Roberson. Joshua also made his theatrical debut as Amir in "The 'N' Word" play produced by ChildhoodsLost Entertainment/Dollars and Sense Records/Storm E. Weatherz Entertainment and written by Bilal Islam. Today, Joshua has fully committed to furthering his acting career. He currently studies Acting techniques at "Aikan Acts" where Joshua is learning how to become a full time actor. Joshua was also admitted to the Aikan Talent group spearheaded by Nakia Dillard where he has been casted for various projects. Joshua has also begun taking weekly vocal lessons at Valentina Sounds learning voice control, breathing techniques and finding his voice as a tenor. He also is teaching himself gymnastics and muay thai. Joshua is currently working on 4 productions for the 2021 year. He has been casted for "The June Smith Story" by Tee Tunnel Harris; "Resistance 2" by Nikki Harmon; "Dear Life You Suck" by Darrelle Williams; "Not Cold Anymore" by Ryan Sellers.
