Entrepreneur, Media personality, Actress, Video Vixen, Model, Beauty pageant title holder and Senior Special Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor, Nengi Rebecca Hampson was was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, to Mr. Hampson and Ms. Flora. Working across a variety of genres, she is one of the most versatile and accomplished young talents today.

She spent most of her childhood in both Port Harcourt and Bayelsa state. After her primary and secondary education, she attended the University of Port Harcourt (UniPort) where she graduated with a second class upper in a Bachelors Degree in Linguistics and Mass Communication.

Nengi Ventured into pageantry at the age of 15, and has since emerged as the beauty pageant title holder of titles such as The Nigerian Queen 2013 & Miss Peace Bayelsa 2014. In 2017, she contested for the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant and placed in the Top 5, taking home the category title of 'best evening wear.' During her days as a pageant Queen, she was recognized and commended for her charitable work and giving back to the community.

Employing her entrepreneurial business skills, Nengi began her career as a business woman when she launched 'Shoes by Flora' back in 2019. The company deals in Women's foot wear and was named after her late mother Ms. Flora. 'Shoes by Flora' has become a household name in Nigeria and it's no wonder that she was honored with the BlvckWomxnWorldwide Award for Entrepreneur of the year in 2020.

In 2020, Nengi ventured into acting with her first role being in the Block Buster Movie 'Rattle Snake the Ahanna Story.' Her work in the Movie has been commended occasionally and she has made mention of her intention to go to acting school to brush up on this skill. She has also featured in Music videos as a female lead. 'Ride or die' in 2018 and 'Jowo' in 2020.

In recent times, Nengi has become a highly sought after name and face for top tier brands. She has been endorsed by one of biggest cognac producers 'Remy Martin,' a skin care brand 'Jenny's Glow Nigeria,' Luscious Virgin Hair which deals in hair, 'Guinness NG' which is the number one most consumed stout in Nigeria, Lagos based real estate Company 'Periwinkles,' 'Deshapeables' and has also been associated as an influencer for 'MTN Nigeria' during it's 'Do You' campaign. These are to mention but a few.

During her home coming event in November of 2020, she was appointed as Senior Special Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor on the girl child, and also unveiled as the New face of Bayelsa state, Nigeria by Douye Diri the Bayelsa State Governor. This makes her the youngest person in Nigeria to hold such political position When she is not off working and making headlines, Nengi participates in charitable causes.

Was born to a British father and a Nigerian Mother. Holds dual citizenship.

Born and raised in Port Harcourt but hails from Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

A two-time beauty pageant winner. Won the Nigerian Queen Pageant (2013) and Miss Peace Bayelsa Pageant (2014).

Went for the Big Brother Nigeria (2020) season and came out as the 3rd out of 20 housemates.

Finished as the fourth runner-up (5th position) of the MBGN Pageant (2017) out of 37 contestants. She also won an award for best evening dress on that same day.

The C.E.O. of a shoe brand called ShoesbyFlora which she launched in 2021.

During her time in the big brother house, she won several tasks and activities including 2x Head of House, thus becoming the first and last H.O.H. of her season.
