David Cantens (°1980) graduated in 2002 as an actor at the Conservatory of Ghent. He stared in several TV- and Filmproductions as actor in New Texas, Brabanconne, The Pentagon, Professor T, De Ridder Ella, Zone Stad, Aspe, Witse, Family, Flikken and Wittekerke .
After several theatre productions at HETPALEIS, NTGent and the Kopergietery he started performing from 2004 on at the De Paardenkathedraal in Utrecht. He worked in several plays as a lead actor in De Vader, Bedrog en Closer. Since 2010 David is part of the core of the Spelerij theater, the theatre company around Paula Bangels in which he performed Othello, Frederik, Friday and Three Sisters.
His most famous role and lead role is that of the autistic Rudy Marsman in the TV series Marsman. In the near future you can see David starring as Youri in 'De Luizenmoeder'.
