Dexter: Resurrection has been one hell of a ride and has served fans in ways they couldn’t have imagined. But it isn’t Michael C. Hall’s Dexter Morgan who stole the show, but Krysten Ritter’s enigmatic and hot serial killer, Mia.

A seductive and charming character who infiltrates a serial killer club and ends up setting up a brilliantly carried out mysterious ‘suicide’ setup, Ritter revealed in a recent interview with Collider that Mia’s time in the series might not be over yet.

For me, this role was absolute candy, and I had so much fun doing it. So, we’ll see. Maybe it’s not the end of this character. We’ll see.

When Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) entered the MCU, fans knew the Punisher (Jon Bernthal) wasn’t far behind. Daredevil: Born Again brought the character back to us momentarily with a promise of Bernthal’s return in The Punisher Special, which is currently filming and new set images sees a lethal side of the character that we haven’t seen yet.

The last couple of years have seen Marvel Studios embracing more and more "mature" content. The return of players from the Netflix Marvel shows like Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) has necessitated new spaces for those characters to fully stretch. That has, in turn, given rise to more Disney+ shows under the "Marvel Spotlight" banner carrying TV-ma ratings, allowing for a higher dose of violence and other "adult" material.

Still, that's far from the MCU norm, which is why I was a bit surprised to tune into the latest series from Marvel Animation, "Eyes of Wakanda," and find it as bloody and violent as it is. To be clear, this is still well below the line of something like "Daredevil: Born Again." The animated series isn't on the level with "Castlevania" or "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" either, at least when it comes to taking advantage of the format to include gratuitous gore.

For everything we do know about Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it feels like there's an awful lot we don't know. As of now, The Punisher, The Hulk, and The Scorpion are all confirmed to appear, but how these characters will interact is a mystery. 

When it comes to the heroes, there's a very good chance they'll fight each other before teaming up. If so, how is Frank Castle going to hold his own against Spider-Man and the rampaging Green Goliath?

Marvel’s Eyes of Wakanda expands on the lore established in Black Panther, but it also has a surprising connection to Daredevil. The second episode of the animated anthology is set during the Trojan War and focuses on Achilles’ attack on King Priam. Achilles’ army is called the Myrmidons, which is also the name of a prison in the Daredevil universe.

The Myrmidon is a private prison that is handled by Mayor Wilson Fisk after he passes the Power Act in the comics. While season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again is likely to follow a similar arc, we do not know if The Myrmidon will show up in the series. A similar prison called The Raft was shown in Captain America: Civil War.

Brand New Day is the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man saga. The film is co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, with Sony Pictures handling distribution. It marks the 38th MCU film and the fourth Spider-Man solo movie following 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.

This time, the film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton with a script from Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the same writing duo behind the last two Holland-led Spidey adventures.

Cameras are expected to begin rolling on Spider-Man: Brand New Day later today, meaning we may be mere hours away from seeing Tom Holland in costume as the web-slinger.

However, he may not be the only character we see in action in Glasgow, Scotland (which is doubling for New York City).

According to scooper Daniel Richtman, "I heard that tomorrow they'll be filming a big action scene with Punisher and Spider-Man fighting over a Dodc transport convoy." The Dodc is, of course, the Department of Damage Control, an organisation we've seen quite a bit of in Marvel Studios' Spider-Man franchise.

What could Spidey and Frank Castle be fighting over? Well, there's obviously someone in that convoy who The Punisher believes is deserving of his lethal form of justice, with the wall-crawler stepping in to stop his fellow vigilante from killing.

While we've only glimpsed some of the endless (and often dangerous) realities beyond Earth-616, there are still plenty of hidden worlds within the primary reality of the Marvel Cinematic Universe we've yet to discover. Indeed, we get to check out some of them in the animated anthology series "Eyes of Wakanda."

In the show's third episode, worlds collide when a War Dog returns an artifact to Wakanda, only for the Iron Fist of that era, Jorani (voiced by Jona Xiao), to follow him home and attempt to take it back. Naturally, using animation to tell this story allows for much more freedom when it comes to visualizing how the Living Weapon moves and, more importantly, fights. But even after every fist thrown and every kick launched, perhaps the most striking element of the Iron Fist is her appearance -- specifically, the hero's iconic headgear, which has undergone a major change here.

This past weekend's San Diego Comic-Con was one of the worst in recent memory for news (most studios release their trailers before the event), but there are still lots of interesting tidbits floating around for fans of the MCU and Dcu.

Over the last two years, Marvel’s television slate faced a whole lot of shifting, followed by an entire revamping of its structure, and it seems to have finally found its groove. And there’s still quite a few shows on the horizon.

As part of a Q&a session during GalaxyCon, Cox was asked about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and then stated, "I need to play it," and also that he needs a gaming console first, and that he is very happy for developer Sandfall Interactive's success because it's a small studio. The first photos show Bernthal portraying a more rugged Frank Castle, similar to the one we see at the beginning of The Punisher Netflix series and when Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) first finds him in Daredevil: Born Again. Marvel has displayed a pattern of giving Frank a beard at the start of a series only to shave it at the show’s end, but fans remain hopeful this time around that the scruff is here to stay.

Among all the exciting Spider-Man updates fans have gathered surrounding Tom Holland's next installment, one in particular has certainly come as a shock. Mahoney was determined to remain honest in a department full of dirty cops, and even though he was against Daredevil's (Charlie Cox) vigilante methods, he aided Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson in their cases and ultimately came to see the Man Without Fear as a force for good.

After years in the super-powered dog house, the Netflix Marvel series are back in the spotlight, with characters like Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Jon Bernthal's Punisher leading the charge. As seen in a Jul. 10 Instagram post from Scardapane, the showrunner confirmed that filming on Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again had wrapped, and offered a special thanks to members of the cast and crew who helped make it happen. A new report has brought up the number of Defenders Disney+ projects in the works at Marvel Studios up to three. After years stranded on Netflix, Marvel Studios revived the Defenders corner of the MCU earlier this year with the debut of Daredevil: Born Again. The R-rated streaming series brought beloved Marvel stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio back to their roles from the Netflix Daredevil series, setting up a potential full-on renaissance for the gritty, grounded pocket of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Insider Daniel Richtman shared that a third Defenders-related project is now being developed for Disney+. This new title follows in the footsteps of Daredevil: Born Again (which is set to debut its second season sometime next year) and the Punisher Special Presentation. The formerly Netflix-bound Defenders franchise has been enjoying some time back in the sun at the MCU, with Born Again serving as the launching point.

Earlier this year, we finally got confirmation that Krysten Ritter will be reprising her role as Jessica Jones for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, and the actress has now teased her return as the hard-drinking Pi during an interview with Screen Rant.

As you might expect, Ritter didn't get into plot details, simply noting that she is "thrilled to be back in Jessica's boots. There's more story for her and it's really exciting."

Well, it looks like that might be it for Daredevil: Born Again set photos for a while. Showrunner Dario Scardapane has taken to Instagram to confirm that shooting has wrapped on the upcoming second season. Reshoots are always possible, but it will now move into post-production.

When Daredevil: Born Again was first announced by Marvel Studios, it was as an 18-episode series. That was soon broken up into two seasons, though we'd later learn that season 2 will consist of 8 episodes rather than 9.

As for a potential season 3, that's been talked about but isn't likely to be confirmed until Disney+ sees how the second batch of episodes performs.
