Lucy Hale’s role as Katie Scherbatsky on How I Met Your Mother was surprisingly short-lived. Katie was Robin’s younger sister who always felt frustrated that Robin wouldn’t trust her to make her own decisions. She first appeared in the season 2 episode “First Time in New York” when she came to visit Robin in the city. After that, she wasn’t seen again until she attended Robin and Barney’s wedding in season 9’s “Vesuvius.” Considering she was a sibling of a main character, Katie was expected to have a larger role in the series, like Marshall’s brothers or Barney’s brother James. But Hale only appeared in those two episodes.
Although Robin’s sister only show up in three episodes of How I Met Your Mother (including flashbacks), Katie was almost never mentioned outside of her brief on-screen appearances. She appeared at Robin’s wedding, but...

Bucky Barnes is trying to leave his Winter Soldier name behind, and his new White Wolf name can actually perfectly fit with Thunderbolts. After being a linchpin of the Captain America franchise, the next chapter in Sebastian Stan's journey as Bucky included a leading role in a new franchise starter. Thunderbolts brings Bucky back after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. In a somewhat surprising twist of fates, the man who was once Hydra's brainwashed super-assassin is going to spend some time with other reformed villains.
Bucky being on the Thunderbolts team with Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, U.S. Agent, and likely others comes at an important part of his MCU journey. A Jon Snow sequel is happening, and the spinoff show could well just end up being Game of Thrones season 9 in all but name. When Game of Thrones ended in 2019, it was already clear HBO had big plans for continuing to explore Westeros. However, the expectation then - and for a couple of years afterwards - was that the spinoff shows would all be brand-new stories, with considerable distance from Game of Thrones. There could be multiple prequels, but it didn't seem like there would be any direct sequels.
That has changed with news of a Jon Snow sequel show, which will see Kit Harington return to the role that made him famous and pick up his story after Game of Thrones' ending. Snow is set up as its own distinct series with a new creative team - there'll be no return for Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and...

The truth behind Henry Cavill leaving "The Witcher" series is murky right now. Some rumors say it was because he was sure he was strapping on the cape again for a grand return to the Dcu (which ... uh ... turned out not to be the case), while some say it was because of creative differences. We won't know the whole truth for a bit, I suspect, but no matter what the reason, we know Cavill is handing his swords over to Liam Hemsworth for season 4. But what does that mean for Cavill's Geralt? How jarring is it going to be to switch Geralt of Rivia actors between seasons 3 and 4?
Series creator and showrunner Lauren Hissrich has chimed in on this in recent days in an interview with Entertainment Weekly where the creative assures us that Cavill's time as The White Wolf is going to end with a bang and that the...

It was announced in October that Henry Cavill would also be stepping down from The Witcher, with Liam Hemsworth replacing him in the role of Geralt. In a statement, Cavill said: “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures. In my stead, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam’s take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men.” Although Henry Cavill will be missed, Hemsworth won’t be taking over the role until the fourth season, which means that we still have The Witcher season 3 with Cavill to look forward to.

Between the upcoming Scream film and the new hit sitcom Uncoupled, the cast of Friends and How I Met Your Mother appear to be doing great right now. This is not a shock, as both shows have devoted fans to this day and were able to use the setup of friends in New York and take it in many directions.
With both shows airing for nearly a decade each, they were able to have some very memorable characters in both their main and supporting cast. Some of them feel like they could make a sitcom of their own.
Ross & Barney
Many people may immediately connect Barney Stinson with Joey, as both characters are known for their wandering eyes. However, due to Barney's own insecurities, he would likely not enjoy Joey, who he would see as a threat. Instead, Ross Geller may be the perfect friend for him.

The Witcher has recast Geralt for season 4 and Liam Hemsworth will be taking over from Henry Cavill, but the news really is not as bad as you think. Based on the books of the same name, Cavill has played Geralt, also known as the White Wolf, since 2019 when The Witcher first premiered on Netflix. The Witcher currently has two seasons on Netflix, with the third set to release mid-2023, and will continue to follow Andrzej Sapkowski books and Geralt’s adventures as a beast hunter with supernatural abilities.
The Witcher news that Liam Hemsworth will be replacing Henry Cavill as Geralt has caused backlash online from fans, but the recasting could work for Geralt and definitely does not mean the end of The Witcher world. Fresh off the news that Henry Cavill would be returning to the big screen as Superman in future DC movies comes the revelation that The Witcher Season 3 will be Cavill’s last. CD Projekt Red recently announced a remake of the first Witcher game, and this project will finally make it fun to replay the entire action RPG trilogy. Based on the fantasy novel series by Andrzej Sapkowski, the Witcher games follow monster hunter Geralt of Rivia as he battles horrific creatures and maneuvers a tense political world. 2011's The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings received widespread acclaim, while 2015's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is considered one of the greatest video games of all time. The series' first installment is not remembered quite as fondly, but the upcoming Unreal Engine 5 Witcher remake will hopefully breathe new life into the aging adventure.
While the original Witcher game set firm foundations for the trilogy, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings dramatically improved and changed the series' action RPG gameplay. Combat was largely overhauled, with Geralt gaining a wide range of new offensive and...

In January 2023’s Black Panther #13, matters come to a head as Black Panther takes on Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Since John Ridley took over writing duties on Black Panther, he and his collaborators have put T’Challa through the wringer. Readers learned that Black Panther created a network of Wakandan sleeper agents, scattered across the globe to act as T’Challa’s eyes and ears. No one, not even his sister Shuri, knew about this – and when the agents started turning up dead, Black Panther had much to answer for, and he left Wakanda. Meanwhile, Wakanda has...

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is only weeks away, promising to do justice to the original film, wrap up the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4, and, most importantly, honor the legacy of Chadwick Boseman all at once.
As the film inches closer and closer, theories regarding what twists and turns may occur therein are rampant. Like with most Marvel movies, fans should expect to see a litany of cameos and surprise appearances before the credits roll, and there are certainly cameos that would make perfect sense for this particular film.

Spoilers for Captain America: Symbol of Truth #6!
When Sam Wilson became the new Captain America he kept his wings, so it is a pretty dumb move for villains to challenge him in the air.
As they are now both Captain America, Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers are working completely independently of each other. Sam has been tracking a shipment of vibranium as well as human trafficking with the new Falcon. Although they were on the same case, the two of them were working separately. Falcon investigated along the Mexico-us border while Sam Wilson infiltrated Wakanda. The African nation was not happy that Captain America essentially invaded their country without permission, but he uncovered a plot by a villain named the White Wolf.
