This past weekend saw the premiere of Lifetime's new horror biopic 'Lizzie Borden Took an Ax' starring the gorgeous Christina Ricci (below). Now merely days later Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced that they'll be releasing Lizzie both on DVD and digitally across the Us from 8 April. Nick Gomez helms the biopic which concentrates its focus on the infamous real-life Miss Borden, just one of the main suspects in the brutal murder of her parents during the latter end of the 19th Century. The feature also stars Clea DuVall ('The Grudge'), Billy Campbell, Jennifer Kydd, John Maclaren, Andria Wilson and Brett Donahue....

Next week Lifetime will be premiering their new horror biopic based on the life of the infamous Lizzie Borden. Nick Gomez helms the tale of Lizzie, the true crime suspect in the 19th Century hatchet murders. Christina Ricci ('Bel Ami') plays the title role and she appears in the newest trailer released by the network which you can check out below. Lifetime biopic 'Lizzie Borden Took an Ax' is set to air on the network in late January next year and Entertainment Weekly have now premiered the official new teaser poster for the project. The gorgeous Christina Ricci -below ('Pan Am', 'Bel Ami') stars as the notorious Lizzie Borden, the acquitted suspect of her parents murders in the late 19th Century. TORONTO -- Canadian producers Insight Prods. and Original Pictures said Wednesday they have sold their teen drama Falcon Beach to ABC Family. The U.S. broadcaster said the Canadian drama about coming-of-age teens holidaying in a lakeside resort would launch its Sizzlin' Summer programming strand in 2006. After the original two-hour pilot for Falcon Beach aired on the Global Television Network in Canada, the Canadian broadcaster ordered 13 one-hour episodes of the teen drama that stars Steven Byers, Jennifer Kydd, Devon Weigel, Ephraim Ellis, Eric Johnson and Melissa Elias. Production on the first season of Falcon Beach is set for this summer just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba. Producer credits on Falcon Beach go To Kim Todd, John Murray and Shannon Farr. Murray and Farr created the series.
