- Karie Wright is a quadruple threat. The American actress, director, producer and screenwriter known for her distinctive gray eyes, began her career modeling at the age of 14 doing junior runway, magazine and catalog work. In 1999 she made her music video debut as a back up dancer. In 2002 at the age of 19, she was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Determined not to let cancer get the best of her she chose to further her education and lifted the spirits of others as a college cheerleader while battling the disease. In her 20's she set her sights on theatre and began working as a ballroom dance instructor. A versatile actress and triple threat in theatre, the 10+ year veteran of the stage she has done a wide variety of plays including but not limited to the works of Elton John, Tim Rice, Neil Simon and William Shakespeare.
