Ok, when you buy a film called Terror Birds you surely know what you getting… A film horror film about a group of people getting terrorised by one or more horrific killer birds. And that’s Exactly what you get! However if you’re a horror fan, and one that pays particular attention to cast and crew on Dtv titles, you’ll also be expecting something special given that Terror Birds comes from writer Jake Helgren – whose previous films Varsity Blood and Bloody Homecoming were both highly enjoyable modern takes on the classic slasher movie.

March 2016 VOD Releases Include Ava’S Possessions, Baskin, Emelie, The Revenant
For those of you genre fans out there always on the lookout for interesting horror and sci-fi films to enjoy from the comfort of your own home, March’s VOD selections feature several great indie movies that should make for some entertaining viewings this month.

Ava’s Possessions, a film I really dug out of last year’s SXSW Film Festival, is finally making its way onto VOD this Friday and Emelie, the babysitter thriller from Dark Sky Films, is also getting a digital release that day. Other titles arriving on VOD in early March include The Wave, Road Games and Camino.

Terror Birds (2016)
'Terror Birds' Attack in Blood Soaked Sneak Peek | Exclusive
Terror Birds (2016)
Bird-watching isn't normally the most dangerous of activities, but when the birds in question are massive and carnivorous, things could get messy. That's exactly what happens in our exclusive clip from Mar Vista Entertainment's Terror Birds, arriving on VOD formats March 8. This scene shows that these ten-foot birds are not to be trifled with, as a group of college students try to escape with their lives.

While funding an archaeological site in the Caribbean, Harvey Sullivan (Greg Evigan) learns of a legend about monstrous birds living on two remote, uninhabited islands. Making the journey to investigate, he discovers a ten-foot bird on each island, birds that belong to the species titanis-large, flightless, carnivorous birds long thought to be extinct by nearly two million years and called Terror Birds. Capturing the birds, Harvey brings them to East Texas to a ranch that contains an aviary.

He hires paleontologist, Denise Slater (Leslie Easterbrook), to research the birds.
