Arlene Bishop is a singer songwriter, theme lyricist, performer, and screenwriter, providing lyrics to several beloved cartoon series and songs for soundtrack in film and TV.
With her unique voice and presence, Arlene Bishop has performed solo and with bands in concert halls, festivals, house concerts, and clubs, releasing three studio albums, an EP, a bootleg, a live album that featured a 30-person singing ensemble. She has toured Canada and performed with the Barenaked Ladies, Ron Sexsmith, and Burton Cummings, among others. She is the co-creator, writer, and co-producer of the Gemini Award winning one-woman play "Joan Of Montreal" (CTV, Comedy Now, featuring Brigitte Gall), as well as other awards and nominations.
As a performing artist Arlene Bishop has independently produced six full-length albums as well as several multi-night live music concerts, video documentary series, and is always looking for new ways to bring people together.
