Biography

Jag Singh was born August 18th 1982 in east London, coming from a Sikh faith as a child Jag loved nothing more than to sit with his elders listening to stories about how Sikh warriors lived and fought on the battle fields, often after hearing these stories Jag wound get his siblings together and re-enact the stories he had heard developing his passion for acting at a young age.

As a child Jag wasn't the brightest academically, and often got bullied by other kids for not being able to read and write properly without the help of support teachers and for wearing his turban. Jags behaviour started to spiraling out of control often getting into fights to defend him self. In the summer before starting secondary school, Jag vowed he was no longer going to put up with being bullied anymore and made the decision to cut his hair and take up full contact sports (boxing, kickboxing, Thai boxing and sward fighting) which gave Jag the discipline he needed to work hard towards his goals two of which was to learn how to read and write.

After leaving secondary education Jag went straight on to getting a job as a sales adviser in Selfridges central London, working as a sales adviser help Jag build confidence in communicating with people. Often playing different characters and trying different accents while on the sales floor Jag found him self in trouble with management a lot and received a number of warnings.

Jag started to develop a passion for music, singing and song writing and decided to do a few short causes, then got the opportunity do a music cause with the princes trust working with musicians that have worked in the music industry with world renowned artist for twenty years or more. It wasn't until Jag was rehearsing for a show when a musician looked at Jag an said you look more like a actor then a singer feeling happy and sad at the same time, after completing the cause Jag decided to embark on a acting cause which ignited his passion for acting and since has not looked back and had the opportunity to star in a few independent movies such as The Drugs Game , The Setup , Web Crawlers and working towards getting more established as an actor writer.
