Biography

    • Julia McDermott grew up in Manhattan Beach, California. She graduated from the Julliard School of Arts and Drama (New York City) in 2019, and made her acting debut as Carolyn Bryant in the ABC series "Women of the Movement" which is based on the life, and eventual murder, of the American civil rights figure, Emmett Till who was murdered in 1955 Mississippi. She acted previously on stage for several years before this debut, and is an upcoming versatile and enthusiastic actress.
