Kundan Kumaar is a seasoned actor, director & producer, boasting over 18 years of rich theatrical experience. As the founder of KDR Films & Services he has produced 2 award winning short films Bheed and Bhulakkad. Originating from Bihar, Kundan embarked on his performance journey by participating in Inter College plays as a distinguished member of the revered Vayam Dramatics Society. Following his academic pursuits, he refined his skills through rigorous theatre workshops conducted by esteemed NSD alumni, culminating in appearances in numerous plays directed by luminaries such as Mr. Bhanu Bharti, Salim Arif, and Ramji Bali, among others. Transitioning seamlessly into the realm of screen acting upon his relocation to Mumbai, Kundan made his debut with notable appearances on Crime Patrol and two serials for DD National. Subsequently, he cemented his presence in various daily soaps, episodic TV shows, and noteworthy TV commercials, sharing screen space with industry icons including Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Mr. Rajkumar Rao, Mr. Ajay Devgn, and Mr. Manoj Bajpayee. Expanding his repertoire onto digital platforms, Kundan showcased his talent in Sony LIV web series such as JL 50 and Avrodh Season 1, as well as Scam 2003 - The Telgi Story on Sony LIV and Hungama OTT titled Damaged. His cinematic performances include collaborations with renowned directors like Meghna Gulzar for Sam Bahadur, projects like Patna Shukla on Hotstar, and Zee5 feature film Lakadbagha among others. In addition to his illustrious on-screen achievements, Kundan has directed numerous stage and street plays for various educational institutions and acting studios, including the prestigious Durgabai Deshmukh College for Visually Impaired & Barry John Acting Studio in Delhi and Mumbai. Leveraging his extensive expertise, he offers personalized coaching in acting, voice, speech and dialects for individuals and groups, having served as the Acting Coach for the upcoming film tentatively titled Jassi Weds Jassi. Kundan is actively involved in several exciting projects, including an upcoming film produced by Kirti Kulhari titled Nayeka for Hotstar, and a feature film titled Section 84 IPC starring Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Moreover, he continues to enrich the theatre world with his acting and directing prowess, collaborating with Vibhav Theatrical Samajik Sanskritik Sanstha He has successfully executed film festivals and events.
