Dan Fill is the co-founder and President of Dark Slope, an entertainment company that produces TV series, location based spectacles , simulator rides and video games. Dark Slope specializes in the use Virtual Production techniques, including the large motion tracking stage, the power of the Unreal Game Engine, haptics and animation as part of it's production pipeline.
Projects range from HyperRealty TV series to, metaverse experiences, linear animation and Games.
Previously Dan was co-founder of Chocolate Liberation Front, an independent production company that was based in Melbourne Australia with a Canadian office in Toronto; , Head of Multiplatform for ABC TV and The Head of New Media & Digital Services for The ABC where he oversaw original production for ABC2 and commissioned ABC iView.
Dan was Vice President of Decode Entertainment (now Wildbrain) where he was nominated for a Bafta for the Angela Anaconda Interactive Project and was named Canada's Top Digital Innovator.
Dan has a Bachelor in Applied Arts Radio & Television Arts from Ryerson (Toronto) and a studied Business & Mass Communications at University of Ottawa.
