Actress/artist Andi Saks currently co-stars as Ana Kruschtov, a formidable Russian intelligence agent, opposite Lee Majors and the late Tom Sizemore in writer/director Shawn Welling's alien action thriller Mission from Outer Space 2037. She also co-stars as an evil drug lord opposite Majors, Jake Busey and Terry Kiser in Welling's upcoming comedy The Great American Action Hero. Putting on her producer cap, Andi raised production capital for writer/director Victor V Gelsomino's action/thriller Death Merchant: City of Insurrection. Born in Pearland, Texas, a suburb of Houston, Andi's first brush with the acting bug came in her own backyard where she organized various productions of Peter Pan with neighborhood kids. She began appearing on stage at the age of nine, and credits her performance as the Julia Roberts character in a ninth-grade stage production of Steel Magnolias as a galvanizing moment. After graduating from Clear-Creek High School, she received her Bachelor's degree in marketing and micro-biology from the University of Houston. Heading for a nursing career, her trajectory was stymied by Covid, which led her to support herself by selling medical devices.
