Flannery hopes the easily digestible segments will expose the Guide's browsers to quality comedy of the female variety.

"It's a nice intro for people who might be closed-minded about women in comedy," Flannery said in an interview. "I cannot believe that in all the years that there have been female stand-ups, there has never been a show just for them. The girls can play just as hard as the boys, so I think it's long overdue."

TV Guide Network has renewed their reality series Nail Files for a second season with an order for another eight episodes. The TV series debuted in June 2011 and delivered the cable channel's best premiere numbers for an original series.

Season two of Nail Files will once again be produced by Jersey Shore producer SallyAnn Salsano and star Katie Cazorla, the owner of The Painted Nail salon. The series returns this summer.

As Breast Cancer Awareness month wraps up with news breaking about E! Entertainment’s Giuliana Rancic being diagnosed with early stage breast cancer, The Fashion Police star and E! News host has vowed to fight against the disease in a fun way.

Rancic’s Fab Fit Fun has partnered with The Nail Files star Katie Cazorla to offer “Mani-Cure for Breast Cancer,” a fundraising initiative that will benefit Rancic’s own breast cancer awareness charity, Bright Pink.

Katie Cazorla’s mani-cures will be exclusively offered at her nail salon, The Painted Nail. The mani-cure will feature light pink nail polish with the Breast Cancer Awareness pink ribbon logo printed on one nail on each hand. Cazorla is donating 50 percent of proceeds from her clients’ mani-cures to Bright Pink.

People who love reality TV should be as familiar with SallyAnn Salsano as Mark Burnett. First of all she’s produced big name shows like The Bachelorette, Dance Your Ass Off and A Shot at Love. But her real claim to fame is bringing the kids from the Jersey Shore into your living room. Last week, in a stunning departure from the norm, I allowed Strangers to manhandle my neglected fingernails and got a manicure over at The Painted Nail. Don’t worry, there was a work reason! The salon doubles as the set for TV Guide Network’s reality show Nail Files. On Tuesday's episode of Nail Files, salon owner Katie Cazorla meets the former Full House child actor when she comes in to The Painted Nail for a little pampering. Bure, 35, currently co-stars on ABC Family's gymnastics drama Make It or Break It, and Cazorla is a huge fan. In fact, Cazorla says she was once a gymnast herself, a fact she demonstrates at the urging of Bure and her friends.

Nail salon owner Katie Cazorla has turned the Painted Nail into one of La's favorite celebrity hot spots, and on the Series Premiere of 'Nail Files' (Tue., 10Pm Et on Tvgn) we got to see one of her celebrity clients, rapper Too $hort, getting the red carpet treatment when he stopped by for a pedicure.

An excited Cazorla starts to give the person with their finger on the TV Guide Network censor button a busy night, exclaiming, "I need to go over and be Too $hort's b****! No doubt about it."

In her attempts to impress Too $hort, Cazorla pulls out all the stops. First, she treats him to a special nail salon rap she's written in his honor, which goes like this: "The owner's smart and she's really witty, but I really want her to whip out her t****."

Talking to Katie Cazorla, proprietor of Los Angeles nail salon The Painted Nail and star of TV Guide Network's new -- and first -- series, 'Nail Files,' is a little like trying to hold a conversation with the dog from 'Up.'

Don't worry -- I mean that in the best way possible. When I caught up with Cazorla at the 'Nail Files' Mobile Spa in SoHo last week, it was clear that she was genuinely excited about her new show and just wanted to share the news with people. In fact, the nail tech who gave me my free manicure said Katie showed up in the morning right when the truck opened, and had been taking pictures and chatting with fans nonstop for the five hours since.
