A new clip from Implosion: The Titanic Sub Disaster, the documentary that reexamines the tragic loss of life aboard the Titan in 2023, features recently uncovered footage from the moments just after the incident that include what some believe to be the sound of the submersible imploding.

The video, taken from the communications center monitoring the submersible's dive to the famous wreckage, was unearthed as a part of the investigation into the matter by the United States Coast Guard. The military branch's Marine Board of Investigation granted the filmmakers "unprecedented access," according to Discovery, as they worked to piece together what exactly happened on that June day, when all five passengers died.
